𝐏𝐀𝐘𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐒 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 all of the boys following her
"first bonfire of the summer!" JJ and Steven laugh
"all right, we're totally taking my car. you're not driving, and neither are you" Jeremiah says first pointing to Steven then to Payden
"Come on, man, we're leaving. you ready?"
Conrad goes to put out his blunt but Payden interrupts him
"come on, you still got a lot left" she whispers taking a deep hit from the blunt and blowing the smoke into his face. they're eyes were locked onto each other before Belly interrupts
"can i come too?"
"uh, no"
"But Payden gets to go" she whines, Conrad's eyebrows furrow
"You're going?" he asks a slight tint of concern in his voice
"uh, yeah. is that alright? i mean Belly if you don't want me to, i won't" she asks checking in with her best friend
"the moms are getting everything set up for your movie night anyways" Jeremiah adds
"see you" Conrad says standing up
Payden looks at Belly for approval but before Belly gives any sign for approval she asks one last question
"wait, what about JJ? he's younger than me?" to which Jeremiah instantly responds
"he's one of the boys" he wraps his arm around the younger kid
"Belly, i normally wouldn't go but i need to look out for JJ" Payden whispers as she stands up
Belly gives her a smile which signals an "okay" to the two girls
"lets go, slowpoke" JJ says walking over to his sister
"have fun with the moms" Jeremiah says dragging out the 'o'
when they all finally get to the bonfire Payden seems a bit guilty as she sips from the red solo cup with some strong ass "mystery liquid"
she's wanted to go to this bonfire since last year, but with Belly, not like this
she looks around almost like she's looking for someone familiar, that is until she sees Belly. she's talking with Conrad, or arguing. she's too drunk to tell
