Today, Nischay had decided to have Y/n as his permanent booking forever but before asking for her hand in marriage, he decided to consult his best friend and at the same time, he texted Y/n to come at their favourite hangout place Chillwave Café (fictional name) for which she agreed happily.
Nischay dialed her number and asked her to come at the same place and she agreed.
After getting done talking with the both of them, his eyes fell on the clock hung in the living room and quickly got ready after freshening up.

He left for the café through his car and after 10-15 minutes, reached there and entered inside the café. On entering inside, he found his friend waiting for him near a table where she was seated.
He went towards her with a gentle smile and hugged her (friendly hug👀)
"Hi Sonal, kaisi hai tu? Kitne dino baad tujhse mil raha hoon main yaar. Kahan thi itni dino tak?"
She reciprocated the hug and hugged him back. "Well firstly hello Nischu, main theek hoon. Tu kaisa hai? Aur waise, main apne job mein bohot busy hogayi thi yaar. Isiliye tujhse baat karne ka waqt hi nahi mil raha tha."
"Main bhi theek hi hoon Sonal. Khair yeh bata Anurag kaisa hai? Tu pakka uske saath khush hai naa?"
"Haa haa ekdum. Anurag mast hai aur main sachhi uske saath khush hoon. Bohot dhyaan rakhta hai woh mera. Khair tu mujhe apna bata aur yeh bata ke kya urgent baat thi tujhe mujhse?" Sonal asked, with a sense of suspicion tinged in her speech for the last two sentences.
Nischay felt slightly flustered and thought of changing the topic to calm himself down. "Aree aisi koi baat nahi hai. Woh hum kitne dino se mile nahi hai aur mujhe teri yaad aa rahi thi, toh tujhe aaj milne ke liye bula liya bas," he said with the weight of his actual emotions weighing heavy under him.
He thought that Sonal would believe his oblivious lie but that is where he was mistaken. "Mujhse jhooth mat bol Nischu. Bol kya baat hai," she asked, her tone in a bit demanding manner.
He took a deep sigh, realizing that his lies would be of no use. He gave up and began telling her everything.
"Main Y/n se pyaar karta hoon Sonal aur usse humesha ke liye apna banana chahta hoon," Nischay confessed, his voice filled with genuineness in a low tone barely above a whisper.
Sonal's eyes widened up. "Kya? Sachhi?" She asked with surprise.
On seeing her reaction, Nischay chuckled a little. "Haa."
"Toh phir problem kya hai? Keh de naa usse," Sonal uttered, her tone gentle than before.
"Nervousness ho rahi hai bohot zyada. Agar Y/n ne mera proposal by chance reject kardiya toh? Mujhe darr lagra hai Sonal," Nischay said, his agitation evident in his tone.
