Kensi awoke in a dark cement room with a cold dirty floor. Her wrists and ankles were no longer bound and she had free range of the medium size room. All there was for light was three small dim light bulbs in the middle of the ceiling.

She groaned as she sat up against the cold wall. Her vision was fuzzy as she tried to focus on the lumpy object opposite from her.

"Deeks," she horsely said, trying to walk him. "Deeks!" She said again, a little louder.

After moments without any movement, she took a breath and stood to her feet, wobbly from the drugs.

She walked over to Deeks and knelt down next to him. "Deeks wake up!"

Kensi shook his shoulder until a low moan escaped from his lips.

Kensi sighed in relief as her partners eyes abruptly opened. "Kensi!" He coughed.

"Relax," she whispered helping him sit up against the wall. "I'm right here."

"And where is "here" exactly?" Deeks sighed leaning against the solid cement wall.

"I don't know." Kensi confessed sitting next to him.

"How did we let this happen?" Deeks asked not expecting an answer.

"I don't know," Kensi whispered putting her head on her partners shoulder.

"Are you okay, Kens?" Deeks whispered wrapping his arm around Kensi.

A tear rolled down Kensi's face. She quickly whipped it away. "When I-I was in Afghanistan, I was held in a cave. Then I was mo-moved to a-a small room like th-this." She shook.

"Kensi, Sugarbear, Fern," Deeks paused. "Everything is going to be okay," he kissed her temple.

She took a deep breath and looked down at the ground and inched closer to her protective partner.

"I'm here. I'm always here." He whispered in her ear.

"How are we going to get out of here." She said standing up suddenly headed for the door.

"We can check the bolts," Suggested Deeks following her.

"Yeah, or..." She quit looking at the door and headed for the light.

"We need light though," Deeks said confused.

"Come here," she said looking up at the small light.

"What do you-" Deeks questioned when he walked over.

"Get down." Kensi ordered flipping her hair out of her face.

Deeks knelt down on the ground so Kensi could sit on his shoulders. "Ughh," he mumbled standing up slowly holding her knees to keep her balanced.

"You know, in a normal situation, I would be enjoying this." Deeks said. "Ooh! Xenia Onatopp, the Bond villain from GoldenEye!" Deeks remembered. "She would kill men by squeezing her muscular, well-shaved thighs." He said pinching her thigh teasing her.

"Well, I can think of worse ways to die." Kensi sighed squeezeing the thighs slightly, making Deeks shut up. She pulled on a wire, making the light flicker slightly.

"Like the situation we are in now?" Mumbled Deeks.

"Exactly." Kensi said. "Yes!" She sighed pulling a wire from the fixture.

She put her hands on Deeks' shoulders. "Ready?" She asked.

"Yeah," he said as she lifted her leg from his left shoulder and fell into her partners arms.

Deeks held onto his partner and looked into her deep eyes. He got lost in them in what felt like eternity.

"Deeks," she whispered also being mesmerized by his gorgeous locks of dirty blond hair and his piercing baby blue eyes.

"What?" He breathed slowly.

"You can put me down now." She smiled calmly.

"Oh yeah, umm," he said softly placing her on her feet.

She turned towards him and stood facing him, their lips inches apart. "This wire will come in handy," she whispered.

Just then a loud bang came from the iron door. Kensi jumped back startled into the back cement wall. She fell to the ground having hit her head.

Deeks shot foreword to Kensi's side. She had hit the back of her head on the wall and was bleeding into her bouncy curly hair.

"Deeks," she whispered before the hit drove her unconscious.
