Our Thing?

Chapter 3

Deeks stood up and backed away from the victim. "Where are all the LAPD officers?"

Kensi cocked her head. "I don't know," she glanced around the wooded clearing. "Umm... Deeks?"

He looked at his parter then followed her gaze to an overgrown path. There was blood splatter on the grass.

Kensi looked over at Deeks. "That is a blood trail."

Deeks nodded. He shifted his gaze and let his bright, deep blue eyes land on his partners. He made a shaky but excited smile. "Lets go on an adventure!"

Kensi smiled and walked toward the leafy path. Just as she was about to take a photo of the first puddle of blood, Deeks caught up to her.

"Maybe I should go first," he said.

"Why?" She asked acting offended.

"Why not?" He countered.

"Touché." She laughed as she took a step back.

The partners made there way down the thin, grassy and bloody path.

Deeks raised his fist as a signal for Kensi to stop and that he heard something. He immediately reached for his gun from the hold in his back.

Kendi did the same and pointed the black barrel toward the ground.

After a minute of stillness, Kensi got impatient. "What?" She hissed.

"I heard somthing." He said. He faintly smiled. "I guess it was just a squirrel."

"You guess," she mocked.

"I heard that, Fern," he teased.

Later on, Kensi and Deeks found a clearing at the end of the long path.

"Oh my god Deeks," kensi breathed, barely talking.

"Is that...."

OMG I AM SO SORRRRRRY FOR NOT UPDATING. I have not been with Wifi and i have the damn PARCC testing for the next few weeks.

Heeeeyyy my awesome smart readers! Will one of you please take me tests for me? There all like Marit 8th grade stuff. And algebra. Ohhh gggooddd, i HATE MATH.
