"Nell, what do you have?" Callen barked as he rushed into OSP frustrated on how close Sam and him were at rescuing Kensi and Deeks.
"This was picked up on a camera by the warehouse." Nell said as she pulled up a surveillance video.
After a few seconds of stillness, a pet grooming van came into view. The two men in the front seats were out of view from the angles camera.
"They knew where the camera was," Sam mumbled angrily. "Plate?"
"Stolen two months ago. Dead end." Eric explained sighing.
"Is this all you have Nell? You made us come all the way back here to show us a dead end?!" Sam growled angrily.
"Mr. Hanna, we are all stressed about this situation." Hetty called calmly from behind the table, startling the 4 NCIS employees.
"Yes, Hetty." Sam said like a reprimanded child. "I'm sorry Nell."
"Um, anyway, no that's not what what we called you here for. We have this video that was sent to us while you guys were in the field." Nell stammered nervously.
Again, a video pulled up on the screen. Cuts of both Kensi and Deeks appeared on the screen. The camera, angled to the left and behind the two agents showed everything that has happened. It was a silent video, and while the chapters were talking they turned away.
Suddenly, the video cut to a van. Two limp bodies were settled on the floor.
"Kensi," Callen whispered mesmerized by the horror that was playing out in front of him.
"N.C.I.S." A voice boomed through the speakers slowing. The picture then cut to a masked man. "How foolish of you to think that you could breath the warehouse and expect a good outcome." The man laughed then took off his mask.
"Butch," Sam mumbled recognizing the man in the clip.
"Your two agents days are heavily numbered. Once I get what I want from them, and I will get what I want from them, I will have no need for the two lovebirds. Now I'm willing to negotiate."
"Mr. Sam Hanna, i will let your friends go in exchange for you." He continued.
"I will contact you in 5 hours exactly with more information." The video shut off immediately.
"Could you trace it?" Callen asked softly.
"No, it's bouncing all around the world." Eric explained typing frantically on his keyboard.
"So, in short, we have 5 hours to resume Kens and Deeks before they're dead." Callen sighed.
Sam stood motionless staring at the NCIS logo on the screen. "They did nothing to..."
"Sam, this isn't your fault. This is nobody's fault. And you know just as well as I do that if you trade your life in for theirs, Kensi and Deeks would never forgive you. You have a wife and two kids." Nell assured. "And if I have learned anything working with this team, I know that you guys will find a way to save them."
"Thanks Nell." Sam smiled slowly. "Any leads?"
"We are running a trace on the van for all street cameras, social media and ATM cameras. We will find this van." Eric said still typing.
"Wait, an agent in distress single is coming in." Nell jumped.
"It's Kensi's code. We can trace it if it's with her." Eric said excitedly.
"it's moving, we have their exact location. GPS on your phones." Nell explained quickly. "Hour and a half outside of LA," she called while callen and Sam rushed out of OSP.
