CHAPTER 15 Past

What are you doing?"Stephen asked Kevin when the guy suddenly slipped inside the Audi sport with him.

"Hey! Don't you still owe me a lunch?" he said while putting on his seatbelt.

"Well, is it my fault that you suddenly disappeared when I am on the mood yesterday?"

"Come on Dude, I was called by the boss and you know that. Also, you still have a spare money for my lunch, right?" he said. Then he suddenly put his hand on his shoulder," You might have forgotten, you would not have finished that contract of yours without my help," he said patting his shoulder.

Yeah, his right. Without his help he would not have finished the contract. At that time when he was still in contract with Julia, a couple of guys cornered him in an empty street. They were fans of Julia and were pissed because he was always with her in any occasions. They started to punch him in the stomach and his asset, which is his face. But before another blow could land on his other cheek a hand suddenly blocked the guys punch and pushed the guy away. It was Kevin.

Kevin followed up an upper cut on the man's chin and kicked him.

"If you don't want me to report this to the police..." displaying to them the recorded video scene about the things they did to Stephen a while ago, on the phone, "scram!"

Kevin then brought him in a hospital were he had a relative working there. His Aunt who is a doctor, who happens to be one of his clients, tend his wound.

"So, where are you treating me to lunch?" Kevin asked drifting him back to the present.

"What time is it?" he asked.

Kevin looked at his own watch. "Quarter to eleven,"

"We'll have lunch after my appointment," he said and started to drive.

Kevin frowned when they parked in General Hospital. "You have an appointment here? Are you sick?"

"Nope, we're gonna visit someone," He replied while going out of the car. Kevin was following him." Oh by the way, I haven't told you, I have another sibling and we're gonna visit her," he said. He suddenly noticed Kevin stopped on his tracks, stunned for a moment then walked briskly following him. He would not be surprised on Kevin's reaction since he only knew he had a brother, where he met Axcel one time. Stephen does not mention to anyone about his sister. The reason? Guilt.

The nurse at the receptionist was giggling when they notice they were approaching.

"Hi!" Stephen greeted them and leans at the counter, " Is Doctor Guryu available?"

The nurse facing him blushed. "H-He is still having lunch but he will be able after thirty minutes. I-If you want we could tell him you are already here as soon as he arrives,"

"Okay," Stephen smiled at her. "I'll just go to the billing station," he turns to Kevin, you could wait at my sister's room. I'll follow you there after I finish the bill,"

Kevin's eyes widens in shock.

"What?" Stephen asked confused by his reaction.

"Uh, really? So, what's the room number?" Kevin asked.

"205," he replied.

"Okay," Kevin said then turned to the staff," where could it be...?" he asked giving his sweetest smile.

"It's on the left. If you want I could u-usher you," The other nurse said shyly.

"That would be wonderful," Kevin said and giving his adorable smile.

Stephen was opening the door when he heard Kevin talking on the mobile phone.

"...it is her," he suddenly notice Stephen's arrival, "Oh, I need to hung up, bye."
