CHAPTER 14 Past

Stephen was soundly asleep on his own bed when a sudden cool breeze past over his face. He slowly opened his eyes and he saw the rays of light cascading in his face from the window. He looked at the bedside table. It is already six am. He slowly seated.

This is his usual routine when he doesn't have any contract.

Taking a bath....

Cooking frozen foods....

Eating....

...Since he doesn't live with anyone.
What a boring life..I need to get on a contract again...

He pulled out a v-neck cotton white plain shirt, put a black arm band on his left arm and wore jeans and snickers. This would do...he look at himself in a mirror.Actually, until now he is not at ease when people stare at him. With a height of five feet and nine inches he is really eye catching. He went out and caught the landlady inspecting the audi sports car.

"Wow so this is yours?" the landlady asked.

"Nope, the owner just lend it to me," he replied with a smile. This is what he likes with the landlady. She is not prejudice about what kind of work he has as long he could pay the rent on time and does not bring any mess on the place.

"With that kind of car, you could flaunt it with your girlfriend eh," she said with a wink.

The problem is If I have....He smiled back and went in on the red Audi sports back. He really don't want to use this kind of stuff coz he knew this will attract more people but it was entrusted to him. It will be a shame if Julia knew it was not being taken care of.

He arrived at the office safe and sound. The Audi is really an eye catcher. Whenever he was driving the people around would look at the car.

"So got a new 'babe'," Kevin greeted him when he arrived at the reception. Kevin was also one of the Escort in the agency and his good friend. Stephen pulled up the sunglasses to his head.

"Nah, it was just lend to me," he replied then looked at Tara their receptionist, "Please inform Den that I'm back," he said with a beautiful smile. He didn't intend to flirt with the girl but it goes along. It might be because he is used on doing it because of his job.

"O-okay," the girl replied and turned, blushing.

"Tsk, poor girl. Taken by a guy with a coldheart," Kevin commented.

"Says by the guy who wrecks girls in town," he replied while walking at the hallway towards the elevator. he was used by Kevin's comments each time a girl's eye catch him. Well, they are the same. Suddenly a eleven years old girl ran to him.

"Kuya Felix!" the girl greeted him while hugging him.

"How are you Ren?" he asked.

"Kuya when will you be back teaching us street dance? We've missed you!"

"Might be next week,"

"Really?" the girl asked in glee and he nod in assurance." yehey! I'll tell immediately the group," the she noticed the arm band." does the mark here still hurt?" she asked.

"Ren, come over here where done yet," someone called the kid at the hallway.

"Okay!" she replied. " see you around Felix!"

Stephen looked at the band. He actually use the arm band to cover the scar that was bitten by Miksha. How is she now? She's going to be eleven by this year...He suddenly shook his head. Ever since the accident he tried to forget about the little girl. Though Philip used to give him update about her he already stopped communicating her. He couldn't talk to Miksha since there are lot of changes happened and he is ashamed to face the girl that might already have contempt. He is not the Stephen she once knew.
