Chapter 1: Given a Second Chance

It has been twenty eight years and eight months since the establishment of the Largest Guild turned Kingdom status, the Crown of Lysmir. It is regarded as the strongest Nation in the new World, where Chaos rules over Order.

The New Era of Humanity begun thirty years and twenty four days ago in the beginnings of the Third World War. On that day, humanity lost more than two billion souls in mere hours, with more perishing within days. Monsters such as goblins, bipedal lizardmen, and zombies. These took the world by surprise, including the Francian-Germanic Border, where the war was going on.

But in the chaos of war, the 82nd Francian Battalion stations in the Military base of Toul near the city of Nancy. It was led by the 46 year old Major Marcus Couffaine, who was the first awakened in the entirety of Europe. He and the division were left on their own, and they could not leave due to the absence of information. Originally the Battalion possessed 40,000 soldiers, but after the first wave of Lizardmen, it was decreased to 32,000 almost immediately. But the cost of it awakened fantasy like systems which rendered the ones who killed the monsters using melee or being in close proximity the revolutionary title of Awakener. The Roles differed from the role of a Swordsman, to the Healers and Cooks, to the Fire Magicians, to the greatest of all, the Commander. Marcus Couffaine, was given the Commander Role, and buffs were given in order, which raised the strength of the Battalion.

Months after the start of the Awakening, Marcus led the Battalion and the Militia who have awakened and defeated the first raid boss in history, which was located in the now desecrated City of Paris.

It was reclaimed, and the Guild changed it's name from the '82nd Battalion' to the Paris Commune, and thus, it was proclaimed as Safe Haven.

Other Guilds joined the Paris Commune, strengthening it greatly and marking it in the leaderboard as 1st place in the Francian Region. Soon settlements followed suit, and an Agreement was formed between the settlements, marking the start of the establishment of the Kingdoms. When the Leader of the Paris Commune saw that the requirements have been completed, he gathered the Leaders one by one, which sparked a debate lasting 3 days for the system of ruling, alongside the most important factor: The Name of the Kingdom.

It was then decided Marcus Couffaine will lead the Kingdom, with the rest of the leaders as councilmen, which are second to the King. The Name was decided to be the Crown of Lysmir, with Paris as it's capital.

After that, once it was officially done, the system granted a special power upon Marcus, with a name for him. The status changed his name to King Yhwach Bach, with his role as King, which evolved from Commander.
