Moving to the uk from the United States was a rude awakening especially only at the age of 18 but it was to better your football career so your family supported you all the way
But the Arsenal girls have helped you a ton
The Arsenal staff has been so helpful making you a whole binder on how and when you needed to pay rent and all the bills and if you couldn't figure it out you would just call and someone would be at your apartment to help you
Leah had been the biggest help with finding your apartment she went and toured all of them with you and made sure you were in a good area and living near one of the Arsenal girls and she's pretty scary when talking prices she made sure you got the best deals possible and don't even get me started on how helpful she was with decorating she has the best style made your apartment so bright and lively
Katie and Caitlin were super helpful with helping you find coffee and food spots around for you since you'd never even been to the uk before this and Katie's little sister Ella was a little older than you it was so nice to have someone younger to hang out with so you were at Katie's quite a lot going live on tiktok with Ella
Alessia was your favorite to hang out with she also usually was driving you because you haven't gotten a car here yet but either her or Kyra were usually picking you up for practice or hanging out with the older girls Kyra loved having game nights with the team so it became a weekly thing
Viv and Beth had taken you under their wings instantly always inviting you to come over and just watch tv or play with myle and your favorite memories with them was going on family walks with myle to the park and Steph and Calvin would meet y'all there to play and run around with the dogs alessia would usually join as well on the weekly walks
Steph was amazing at helping you deal with all the public noticing you since joining Arsenal she helped you understand what all of it meant but she also was always there for you when it got to much at meet and greets or when people would get to touchy and you weren't used to it yet but the whole team had truly welcomed you with open arms and you couldn't imagine joining another club even though you didn't love the manager you loved this team dearly they always take care of their own and if you ever needed anything they were all just a text or call away made you feel right at home
And when your parents and siblings visited for the first time your teammates loved them welcoming them all with hugs and gifting your little siblings Arsenal jerseys and all the merch they could have ever wished for it seriously felt like a dream but being in the public's eye is a scary thing when it first happens but you wouldn't change it for the world
The first time you needed help putting furniture together Lia and Kim saved the day they sat on the ground with you building your bed helped you read the instructions and find what piece went to what piece and always making sure to take horrible pictures of you and posting them which all the fans loved how all of the older girls treated you like one of their kids
