Sybil lay on the bed partially dressed with Arick lying beside her, propped up on one elbow and stroking her arm. He kissed her neck and ask;
"What do you want to do today?"
It was around noon and the sunlight was streaming in through the window, they could here the sound of a street performer playing his accordion on the street. It reminded her of her mother, when she was a young girl they lived in London for a short amount of time, they used to take strolls through the park in the afternoons with large pink parasols high above their heads, when the street performers played she always made them stop to listen and would then pay them for their time. That's what Sybil remembered most about her mother was her kindness, but now that she was gone she was even kinder, to everyone, but her own daughter. Sure Sybil loved the past and the future, she loved her mysterious farm boy and her charming officer but she missed her cat, she missed her simple life and that job at the post office. She missed watching the men unload the bread into the small town's bakery. She needed to return to home. But she also wanted to return to Chase who she had grown to love in the few short weeks they had known each other. And finally she didn't want to leave her perfect Arick who would walk off a cliff if only she asked him too.
"I have a friend I need to talk to.. By myself." Sybil replied to Arick's question.
"What type of friend is this?" He asked with a hint of jealousy in his voice.
"A friend I will be paying for HER assistance." Sybil said laughing at his response.
"Ok well at least let me drive you there, and.. Don't kill anyone, ok? I would really prefer for you not to go to jail." Arick said.

They pulled onto a street, lined with large houses, Arick pulled up onto the side walk (his driving skills where not the best) and stopped the car.
"Call me when you done. With the house phone or something." Arick said with a weird look on his face, "are you sure I can't come with you, it just seems really weird for you to be going to some random strangers house by yourself."
"Arick, a lot weirder shit has happened to me."
He raised his hands up in the air as if to say "I surrender" and she got out of the car. She walked down the street to a house with a large blue door and she rang the doorbell. A woman with large blonde yellow hair opened the door,
"Are you Sybil?" The woman asked. She nodded in reply. The woman grabbed her by the arm and pulled her inside the house.
"Ouch!" She proclaimed.
"I'm sorry honey, we're just in the middle of a water gun fight with the neighbours. Come this way, oh and I'm Julia." Wow she thought, another Julia hopefully she won't get this one killed.
Together they sat down on a leather couch surrounding a glass coffee table. Neither of them said a word, they just looked at each other with questioning eyes.
"So you think you travel in time do you?" Asked Julia.
"Indeed I do, I was born in the 1900s then I moved to the 1800s where I met my first lover Chase, now I'm here." Sybil explained.
"Interesting, and you've come to me because your sick of it here and you want to return to your own bloody time zone?" Julia seem quit keen on making her leave.
"Not at all, see the problem is I love it here, because of Arick. But I also want to be with Chase and I also miss my own bed, and my cat and my own time frame."
"Well of course there is a way to control where and when you go for people with this gift but as you probably know that is not advisable."
Sybil gave Julia a questioning look, and Julia then proceeded to explain.
"You'll get sick, each time you race against time it peals away a singular layer of your soul. You may not know it now but some of your less important memories are being erased, the more you travel the more important the layers are, eventually you will not know who you are. Your layers will be a thing of the past future and present and no matter what type of training you do and no matter how hard you try your not going to be able to get them back. Time travel is a magical thing, but it takes it's tole. So Sybil, you're going to have to chose where you want to stay, take a few trips to the options to make up your mind, but remember not to many."
