Adjusting to his new reality as Draco Black was not easy. The news of his disownment spread quickly through the castle, and Draco found himself the subject of even more scrutiny and gossip. Despite the challenges, he remained determined to move forward with Harry by his side.

One evening, as they sat in the Room of Requirement, Draco confided in Harry about his fears and uncertainties. "I don't know what the future holds for me now," he admitted, his voice tinged with sadness. "Everything I thought I knew has been turned upside down."

Harry squeezed his hand gently. "We'll face it together, Draco. Whatever happens, we'll figure it out. You're not alone in this."

Draco nodded, drawing comfort from Harry's words. "I know. And I'm grateful for that. But it's hard to let go of everything I grew up with, even if it was toxic."

Harry leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Draco's forehead. "Change is hard, but it can also be an opportunity for something better. We can build our own future, on our own terms."

Draco smiled, the warmth of Harry's love and support filling him with hope. "You're right. And with you by my side, I feel like I can handle anything."

The next day, Draco took a deep breath and prepared to face his classmates with his new identity. He walked into the Great Hall, his head held high, and took a seat at the Slytherin table. Blaise Zabini, who had been one of Draco's closer friends, looked at him with a mixture of surprise and curiosity.

"Draco," Blaise said cautiously, "is it true? About your father disowning you?"

Draco nodded, his expression resolute. "It's true. From now on, I'm Draco Black."

Blaise raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. Instead, he offered a nod of acknowledgment. "Well, Black or Malfoy, you're still the same person. And I respect that."

Draco felt a small wave of relief. "Thanks, Blaise. That means a lot."

As the days passed, Draco found that while some students remained judgmental, others began to accept his new identity. With Harry, Hermione, and Ron's unwavering support, he started to regain his confidence and sense of self.

One afternoon, Professor McGonagall called Draco and Harry to her office. She looked at them with a mixture of concern and determination.

"Mr. Black," she began, her voice gentle but firm, "I understand the challenges you've been facing. I want you to know that Hogwarts is your home, and we will support you in any way we can."

Draco felt a surge of gratitude. "Thank you, Professor. That means a lot."

McGonagall nodded. "You're a strong young man, and you have good friends by your side. Remember that you have a future here, and we'll help you build it."

As they left McGonagall's office, Draco felt a renewed sense of hope. With Harry's hand in his, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. The future was uncertain, but it was also filled with possibilities, and Draco was ready to embrace it.
