Draco had started to adjust to his new identity as Draco Black, finding solace in his friends and their unwavering support. Despite the hardships, he was beginning to see a path forward. One evening, as he sat in the Slytherin common room, an owl arrived, delivering a letter addressed to him in his mother's elegant handwriting. Draco's heart leapt at the sight.

He quickly retreated to a secluded corner and opened the letter, his hands trembling with anticipation.

My Dearest Draco,

I hope this letter finds you well. I cannot express the depth of my sorrow over what has transpired. Your father's actions have left me distraught, but know that I have always loved you and will continue to do so, no matter what name you carry.

Enclosed with this letter is a sum of money to help you through these difficult times. I wish I could do more openly, but this is the best I can manage without drawing your father's wrath upon us both. Please use it wisely and know that my thoughts are with you always.

Stay strong, my dragon.

With all my love,

Mother

Draco felt a lump form in his throat as he read his mother's words. He unfolded the letter further to find a small pouch of galleons hidden within. His mother had found a way to support him despite the constraints imposed by his father. Her love and loyalty provided him with a renewed sense of strength.

Harry found Draco later that evening in the Room of Requirement. The room had transformed into a cozy, firelit space, offering a haven for their conversations.

"Hey," Harry greeted softly, sitting beside Draco. "You look deep in thought. Everything okay?"

Draco handed Harry the letter. "My mother sent this. She managed to send me some money secretly. I just... I miss her so much, Harry."

Harry read the letter and squeezed Draco's hand gently. "Your mother loves you, Draco. She's doing everything she can to support you, even if it's from a distance. We're all here for you."

Draco nodded, feeling the weight of his mother's love and the support of his friends. "Thank you, Harry. I don't know what I'd do without you."
