"Flamekit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Flamepaw. Starclan, I ask you guide this new apprentice. Set her paws on the path she must follow to become a warrior."

"Blazesong. You will be mentor to Icepaw. You are brave and vigillant. I know you will pass these quality on to Icepaw."
"Leafkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Leafpaw. Starclan, I ask you guide this new apprentice. Set her paws on the path she must follow to become a warrior."
"Silvershine. You will be mentor to Leafpaw. You are loyal and resilient. I know you will pass these quality on to Leafpaw."
"Flamepaw! Stormpaw! Icepaw! Leafpaw!"
"What are we doing first?" asked Leafpaw, "Can we go explore the territory?"
"We'll do that once you get a nest in the apprentices den." said Silvershine.
"Okay!"
Leafpaw bounded away to the apprentices den.
Silvershine remembered how Blossomtail had taken her out to the forest when she was an apprentice all those moons ago. We were so young and naive back then. That was before Ivyclan attacked, before Ripplefrost died.
"I'm done!" said Leafpaw, "Icepaw, Stormpaw, and Flamepaw are ready as well, can we explore togethor?"
"Sure Leafpaw." said Silvershine, "Let's go."
"Remember how our mentors took us out of camp for the first time?" whispered Blazesong.
"Better than you might think." said Snowfeather wistfully.
They showed their apprentices not to eat holly berries and showed them the borders before they headed back to camp.
"That was great!" said Leafpaw, "What are we doing tomorow?"
"I'll teach you to hunt."
"Okay!"
Silvershine padded to the warriors den, curled up in her nest and fell asleep almost instantly.
