chapter nineteen:
"not her"

seonghwa quietly grunted, placing seola on his bed. he tucked her in and pushed some hair strands away. he sighed seeing her eyes puffy from crying. right after tucking seola in bed, seonghwa walks out of his room. carefully closing the door behind and calmly walked down the stairs and to the ground floor. he enters the kitchen where he feels like he has some privacy and takes out his phone, dialing the person that made seola cry.

"we had a deal"

"i didn't expect to see her as well! i couldn't find a hole to escape through." the woman shouts, hissing in annoyance. now seonghwa wonders if this woman really loves seola as her daughter. she's far from being a mother. she's never a mother to begin with. it's all money and more money. "what did you tell her?" he sighed. "it doesn't matter. do anything so she won't ask to see me again. i never want this"

"how did she even recognize me?"

"you're her mother, whose child won't recognize their own mother?" he scolds. "i don't fucking care. yuri saw her" it was as if seonghwa's world crash. "i guess you're gonna have to work your ass off now. i had no control of yuri, he has me on his control. we both know you can't control him either. i have to go. see you around"

seonghwa exits his car, closing the door and walking in silveria. upon entering, he was welcomed by a strong presence. he hasn't seen the person yet but he felt the strong presence. it was so strong seonghwa felt something crawling on his skin. "mr. park, he's here." kyuwon approached him. "i know. has aunt seen him?" he raises a brow. "no, she hasn't. he's requesting you. you came at the right time"

"i will deal with him."

"make sure seola nor my aunt sees us" kyuwon nods at his order while seonghwa lifts his legs and walks towards the main character. "it's been a while, cousin" seonghwa shut his eyes. he hates this. he hates that someone like park yuri is his cousin. "why are you back? i thought you'll be settling in your home" he asked, sitting beside the male. "it was boring there"

"i saw your woman"

"not her" he replied without a hesitation. "come on, that's not how you talk to people older than you. and not her? are we going through this again?" yuri raises a brow. "when will you stop, huh? i thought i apologized enough" seonghwa snaps, earning a scoff from yuri. "you killed my lover and you expect me to let it go just because you said sorry? if sorry works i don't think we need the police, don't we?"

"you're gonna have to taste your own medicine, i guess it's about time"

"not her" he repeats. "why not her?" yuri grinned. "tell me anything you want, i'll give it to you. just not her" seonghwa shook his head. "anything?" yuri raises a brow.

"anything."

seola got off the taxi, thanking the driver and walking to the entrance. it has been two days since she got ahold of seonghwa. it's either he's in silveria or hiding from her. but here she is, in silveria. seola took a deep breath, entering the club. loud music welcomes her right away. silveria use to be not like this. it seems awfully different today. approaching the bar, seola was met with disappointment upon not seeing youngeun in his spot.

she looks around for a familiar face but does not see anyone. even kyuwon or park yeoju. not a single trace of seonghwa as well. seola sighs, turning her heels but is met by a hard chest. the impact causes her to step back as reaction. "i'm so-" she froze recognizing the tall man. he was that guy that was with her mom. "pleasure to see you again"
