The moon hung low over Jeju Island, casting a silvery glow across the beach. The gentle lapping of the waves provided a soothing soundtrack to the serene night. Yoonji sat alone on the cool sand, gazing out at the endless expanse of the ocean. The stars twinkled like scattered diamonds, their light reflecting in her eyes as she reminisced about the past week.

It had been a whirlwind of fun and laughter, filled with unforgettable memories. Yoonji smiled to herself, recalling the lively conversations, spontaneous beach games, and the delicious meals that they shared.

The first day at the beach stood out vividly in her mind. She could almost hear the joyful shouts of her friends as they played volleyball, the taste of the ice cream that they had enjoyed afterwards, and the feelings of the cool ocean water against her skin.

The sandcastles that they had built, the splashing in the waves, and the collective gasp of awe as the sun set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, were memories she would cherish forever.

Yoonji dug her toes into the sand, savouring its cool, grainy texture. She thought about the dinner they had helped Donghyuck's grandmother prepare. The warm, inviting kitchen had been filled with the delicious aromas and the sound of chopping, sizzling and laughter. Learning traditional recipes, working side by side with her friends, and then sitting down to enjoy the fruits of their labour had truly been a special experience. It was a moment of connection and togetherness that had deepened their bond.

Her heart swelled with gratitude as she reflected on their adventures. The hikes through Jeju's lush landscapes, the visit to the volcanic craters, and the spontaneous photo sessions with the picturesque backdrops had been exhilarating. Each new experience had brought them closer together, creating a tapestry of shared joy and discoveries.

But what left the biggest impression on her were all those magical nights where they had laid in the backyard, talking for hours as they fell asleep under the twinkling stars. Under the canopy of stars they had shared their stories, dreams and secrets, feeling the closeness that comes from being surrounded by nature and each other.

The girl took a deep breath, inhaling the salty sea air, this trip had been more than just a vacation. She felt a deep sense of contentment, a happiness that came from being with people who understood and cared for her. The stress of school and the pressures of daily life seemed distant and unimportant here, replaced by a profound sense of relaxation and well-being.

Yoonji closed her eyes, letting the sound of the waves wash over her. She felt a sense of clarity and purpose. The week on Jeju Island had reminded her of the importance of taking time to enjoy life, to appreciate the small moments, and to cherish the people who mattered the most.

Opening her eyes, she looked out at the horizon, where the sky met the sea in a seamless blend of dark blue. The future seemed bright and promising. She felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, buoyed by the strength and support of her friends.

As she sat there bathing in the gentle moonlight, Yoonji made a silent promise to herself. She would hold onto the peace and joy she felt in this moment, carrying it as her source of strength and inspiration. No matter what the future held, she knew she could always look back on this past week and find comfort in the memories they had created.

Yoonji glanced back at the house where her friends were sleeping. She felt a wave of affection for each of them. Mark's steady leadership, Jeno's practicality, Jaemin's boundless enthusiasm, Chenle's infectious laughter, Jisung's youthful curiosity, Donghyuck's vibrant energy and Huang Renjun.

No matter what she said about him it wouldn't be enough. His quiet thoughtfulness, the way he didn't have to say a single word, and yet just his mere presence was enough to comfort her. He'd done so much for her, more than anyone else could ever have and she wondered to herself.

What would I do if I didn't have him in my life?

A little short but just good and calm vibes and nothing else

A little short but just good and calm vibes and nothing else. I might have shed a couple tears while writing this but we are not going to talk about it.
