Niharika blew her black painted nails as she sat alone on the six seater sofa with all her pride when the sound of footsteps was heard.

Averting her eyes up she glared at the handsome man standing right infront of her. "Hmm..I see that the wife of Suryavanshi empire's owner has herself decided to grace this place with her presence.."

Mahir stated pretending to be amused as he sat opposite to Niharika.

Adjusting the strap of her dress that barely covered her thighs she smiled cockily at the blue eyed man.

"I didn't had a better option , man afterall my husband is so busy nowadays with your entertainment..So I thought to give you some company.." she replied , a sense of mockingness dripping down from her each word.

Rolling his eyes Mahir looked away "Well , what to do when his own wife can't keep him satisfied.." casually gazing out of the window he replied expecting some quarrel with Niharika who instead of bubbling in rage still smiled at him as she got up shifting herself closer to the man in room.

"Huh , what to do he's just too blind to see the real beauty but you seem intelligent enough.." She said roaming her hands right from his collar to his chest that was visible due to unbuttoned shirts.

Niharika shamelessly trailed her eyes all over the man infront of her taking in every bit of his looks. "You are so handsome.." she whispered caressing his jawline only to get her hand slapped away.

"I know I am but I really not interested in whores.." he remarked walking out leaving behind a rage filled Niharika.
This felt too much! She never expected such humiliation..How dare he?

Slowly and steadily Ahaana caressed her son's face who slept sprawling on the king size bed with his one leg out of blanket while the other inside. She chuckled as his arms incircled around her in his sleep.

"Umm..Thats my pizza , I'll have it with coca cola.." he mumbled which she guessed to be some dream.

Oh how adorable her boy looked with his cute chubby cheeks and tiny hands.

She brushed away the hairs that fell on his forehead placing a feather kiss over there.

"I want one too!" Vihaan's voice rang in the seconds before quiet room as his shoes clicked against the floor.

"Then go and ask for it from your wife.." getting up from the bed Ahaana spoke up covering Avi properly with a duvet.

As she was about to leave the room his hands wrapped around hers closing that unbearable distance between them.
Ahaana looked into his eyes as if they were telling her a story of love , pain , misery and all those emotions which remained masked everytime.

She felt herself fighting with the urge to hug him tightly and give all of herself to him.
You have already did that mistake once! A logical part of her brain chimed in making her jerk herself from his hold.

"From where did you got it?" She questioned as Vihaan's eyebrows knitted together.

A sense of confusion washed over the grey eyed man "What?"

"Those amazing acting skills!" Ahaana replied back venomously. Her hazel eyes shooting daggers at him.

"It's not acting Ahaana , trust me!" He answered being almost vulnerable.

"Trust you?! What a joke , Vihaan..And you couldn't remain loyal to me atleast be loyal to the woman you are married to.." she stated , irony coating her tone.

Vihaan shook his head reaching up to hold her arms "It's not like what you see..Niharika and I will be soon getting divorced her time is over now.."

Ahaana stared at him unbelievably hearing his answer "You know what there's a saying men will be men! And thanks to you today I actually understood it's meaning.." she said turning around as her footsteps echoed in the corridor.

Vihaan stood glued to his place trying to keep his mind calm. How should I make her understand my situation? He asked the question to himself for umpteth time.
With a sigh leaving his lips he sat on the bed gazing at his son's sleeping figure who was still unaware of the tension going on in house.
