chapter 14 Eager to Talk

THIRD PERSON'S POV;
Her phone rang. And the one who picked it up was paulin her father. He squinted his eyes as he reads the caller id. *Jaxon sweetheart 🫀* . "June get your ass here" he screamed called his daughter who was in the veranda. June placed the neighbour's baby on the ground and rushed towards her father.

"What happened?" She asked. He looked at her giving her a stern look. "What happened?" June asked once again. "Someone is calling you. What is it hmm jaxon sweetheart" he mocked her. Her heart clenched. "No" she said not believing her father. "Here take a look" he said and gave her the phone. "Ok" june whispered.
"Pick up the call and put on the speaker. I want to hear what he is talking with you, you are a b*t*h" he cussed.

June called him up once again and within one ring jaxon picked up the call with a smile on his face.

"Hello darling" his sexy voice spoke.
"H-hi enzo" june said.
"What happened baby you sound so off??
"Enzo my father is with me"
"Oh ok darling. So when will you be free?"
"Uhm i'll text you enzo"
"Oh ok darling. Text me baby?"
"Yes ok enzo"
"Ok darling bye"
"Bye enzo"

She immediately cut the call and looked at her father. "What did he want to say?" He asked "nothing, why would you think that?" She asked "because i know you type of girls. You like to open your legs to men. God what i child i brought up" her father spoke too fast. "Don't talk rubbish he is not like that. You don't even know anything about him" june said and walked away.

Jaxon was in his company pacing around in his office. It was around lunch time. He didn't even have his lunch thinking he would talk to his girl, but he heard what she said her father was there, so he knew that she was uncomfortable. He rubbed his temple.

There was knock on his door. "Come in" he answered. "Mr Bianchi, its time for your lunch. Mr Titus would like to have lunch with you" said his secretary whose name was alfonso. "Give me a second" he said. He checked his phone to see any message from june but found none. He sighed and put his phone in his back pocket. "Ok i'm coming" jaxon said and walked out with his secretary.

Jaxon got to the dining hall of the office. He sat down and beside him was Mr titus the manager of the right side building. Soon their lunch was served. It was penny pasta with chicken sandwich.

June was inside her bedroom with a huffed face. Her thoughts were all on her jaxon. But her father had ruined it. She knew she would never forgive her parents for whatever pain their are causing her. She would never forgive anyone who caused her pain.

She texted jaxon.

June - Enzo, hi! I'm really sorry about my father. You know why i couldn't talk to you. He was there and was going on questioning me? So that is why is had to cut the call. Sorry for that. But call me in the evening. I'll pick it up and we can talk.
I miss you enzo <3

She placed her phone down and laid down wanting to take a nap.

In the middle of having a conversation with the manager, jaxon felt his phone vibrate. He immediately stopped the conversation and pulled out his phone. It was a message notification from june. He opened her message and read it. He smiled but then frowned.

Jaxon - Ok my love. Take care. I miss you too my love, you won't believe how much i miss you. I cannot wait to talk to you in the evening. Why not you call me sweetheart. ❤️

June looked at the time and decided to call jaxon. Her mother was out talking to the neighbours while her father was making dinner today. She knew it was the perfect time to call enzo. She messaged him before calling him.
