chapter 24 Grocery shopping

THIRD PERSON'S POV;

Jaxon stopped the car in front of the biggest supermarket in the city. "Let's buy some groceries baby" he says. June looks at him and nods her head. She opens the door and gets down. Jaxon stares at her and shakes his head. He walks to her and cups her face. "Baby you stopped crying no?" He asks her as he examines her face. "Yes enzo" she says with a smile. "Good girl" he praises and kisses her head. She blushed knowing they were in the city and people passing by would watch them.

Jaxon grabbed her hair and took her in with him to the supermarket. He grabbed the cart with him, while one hand was holding hers. "Baby pick whatever you want" he tells her. She looks at him with a smile and nods her head. They move to first section which is vegetables. June grabs all the important vegetables just like a wife. Jaxon watches her with a smile as she picks up the good ones. "And we should always choose ripe ones. If they are raw or bitten, those are all spoilt ones" she says as she looks through the tomatoes. Jaxon kisses her head and smiles at her.

After buying the vegetables, they move to the other section. June smiles at all the chocolates. She admires them. She was so childish when it came to chocolates. Even when she lived with her parents she couldn't control the excitement of having chocolates, but sadly she wouldn't even get one piece of chocolate as her parents denied her from that treat and many more.

Jaxon noticed the smile on her face as she admired the chocolates. He waited for her to pick some and put it in the cart but she didn't as she mumbled something and walked away while looking down. He frowned. "Baby?" He called as he rushed to her. She turned to him with a smile. "Other things are this side" she said pointing to the other side. "Don't you like chocolates?" He asked her. "Uhm...i like" she says looking away from him. "Then why didn't you pick up from there?" He asks her. "Enzo....nothing come" she says. He knew she was hiding something. He decided to let it go now. He knew what he was doing.

They walk to the other aisle and grab other ingridients and some other stuff. It took them time to buy everything and in total they were two carts filled. June blushed seeing the things he had brought. She looked at her enzo and smiled as he made her pick up the stuff. They were now at the billing counter and june was standing beside jaxon while they did the billing. Jaxon pulled out his card. He swiped it and the bill came. They both carried the bags and walked outside the supermarket. Jaxon opened the door of the car and put all the bags inside. June got inside the car and jaxon looked at her "baby wait here i think i forgot something, i will be back" he says. She nods her head. She pulls out her phones and scrolls through some reels distracting her. The scent of jaxon engulfed her.

Fifteen minutes laters jaxon came back and placed something at the backseat. "It took you so long" she says as he gets in the driver's seat. "Yes i know baby, i'm sorry" he says while cupping her face. She blushes and smiles. "It's ok", she says. He pecks her lips making her cheeks turn red. He straps on his seatbelt and starts the engine.

They reach home. Jaxon's penthouse and he calls dante to come down as he wouldn't make june carry the bags. "Enzo it's ok i can carry it" she says. Dante comes into view. "Hii sweetie" he greets june with a smile "hi dan" she greets back with a smile. "What can i do for you boss?" Dante asks Jaxon. "Help carry those bags" jaxon answers. Dante nods his head and carries the bags while jaxon does too. June smiled at those two men. The three of them walked till the elevator and reached up to the penthouse.

The three of them walk inside the penthouse. June walks into the living room and takes a seat on the couch. Jaxon and dante walk to the kitchen. They set the bags on the counter. "I need to settle these now" jaxon telle dante. Dante nods his head and looks around for june. "Where is she?" He asks jaxon. "Hey what do you mean she. Address her by her name, you understand" jaxon warns dante. Dante rolls his eyes. "Ok boss" dante says. Jaxon rolls his eyes while nodding his head. "She must be in the bedroom or hall, leave her alonr for sometime" jaxon says. "Says the one who can't live even a second without having around her" dante says with a smirk.

Dante was right. Jaxon couldn't live without june. Infact this time if he was going to italy he would be taking her along with him. He would want her to be with him. All wanted was to give her a good life, happiness, love and pamper her. Make her sit and look pretty, take orders from her because he believed she was his Queen and he was her king.

------------------------TIME SKIP---------------------------

"hmm yummy" june moaned and licked her lips. The garlic parmesan chicken pasta which was made my jaxon was extremely delicious. June was enjoying her dinner. Jaxon and dante staring at her as she enjoyed her dish. June finished the whole dish and looked at jaxon. She smiled at him. "Enzo it's so tasty. I love it. Make more of this" she says smiling brightly. Jaxon blushed. He took the napkin and gently wiped the side of her mouth. "Thank you baby. I'm glad you liked it. Want more baby?", he asks her. She nods her head and pushes her plate to jaxon.

With a smile on his face he takes her plate and serves her more food. He places a soft kiss on her head and sets the plate in front of her. She smiles at him "thank you enzo" and starts eating. Jaxon stares at his little love.

"Thanks boss for the dinner. Imma go sleep now" dante says. "Si, good night" jaxon tells him. "Good night bro" dante says and pats jaxon's back. "Good night sweetie" dante tells june as he sees her in the balcony. "Huh good night. Why so soon?" She asks him. "Sorry sweetie, i'm a little too tired" dante says. "Ok. Good night" she says. He kisses her head and tells her good night and walks to his room.

June stands at the balcony admiring the view. She puts her hand inside the dress and unclasps her bra and pulls it out. She sighs out of relief and turns to see jaxon making his way towards her. He smiles at her and then looks at her hand. He smirks. "Oh sorry", she says and moves the bra behind her back. "It's ok baby", he says and kisses her head.

He pulls her hand up and kisses her knuckles. His heart flutters as he still sees the panadora ring on her finger. He kisses her lips and she responds, she clutches onto his shirt and kisses him back. He licked her lips and pulled her up she immediately wrapped her legs around him and he took her to the bedroom. He placed her on the bed and kissed her more swiftly. Her hands slide in his hair and he moaned into the kiss. They made out for a while until they pulled away.

A yawn escaped her mouth and he chuckled placing a kiss on her cheek. "Ok baby let's get you to sleep" he says. They do their night routine and he tucks her in bed then gets in with her and kisses her head. Soon they both fall into a deep slumber.
