Previously :

" Thank you once again for today " I whispered in his ear and then ran off in the direction of my house. Before that, I was able to see his shocked expression and his blush as he caressed his cheek.

Sam pov :

I ran inside my house at full speed and banged the door close behind me as I leaned my back on the door while taking deep breaths. As I tried to control my fast-beating heart and blushing face.

" What happened? " Ishika and ritika eyed me sith questioned.

" No. Nothing " I mutter as I run toward my room.

" Weird " They both mumbles.

At school :

I walked toward my classroom with my friend as I saw R5 coming toward us.

" Hi " I greeted as everyone greeted me except Aarav which was expected but what I didn't expect was for Atharv to also not greet me.

He simply walked away without even glancing at me. Why did he do that? Maybe he was shy! Oh, Sam calm down. Let's go to class first.

Half the day passed by but the whole r5 group remained absent, they did come to the cafeteria with bloody clothes except Atharv who was still dressed like a gentleman. They sat in their seat and ordered their food.

" Ishu, ritu. I am coming in a minute " I utter as I stand up

" Where are you going?" They questioned together.

" To r5 they don't look well. I want to ask Ravi if he is okay. " I lied as I turned.

" Oh, asking Ravi or Atharv? " Ishu teased

" Oh shut up " I rolled my eyes.

" I am also coming " Ishika utter surprising both me and Ritika.

" They are my friend too? " She utters. Like I will buy it.

We both know that she never went to a place where there is R5 after the incident happened with me cause that time she had a huge fight with Aarav. She was literally on the verge of tearing his hair off well same goes for him too.

" Ok, let's go," I said as I and Ritika walked toward their table.

" Ravi, how are you? " I asked as my eyes moved toward Atharv for any kind of injury.
While he put all his attention on the phone.

" I AM FINE " Ravi uttered with a smile which looked kinda creepy with all that blood on his clothes.

" But the blood " I whispered

" Oh! Don't worry it's not mine " He utters while eating.

I turned toward Ritika to see her asking Mina about the fight but wait a second Why is she stealing glances at Aarav? Is there something going between these two right now I am upset at Atharv cause he is deliberately ignoring me.

We then moved back to our table. After some hours just as class got over. I packed my bag hurriedly and said bye to both of them as I walked toward the corridor that led to a basketball court.

I hid inside a storeroom as people walked toward the court. I tried to see outside Sneakingly

By the small window. No one is outside now.
Atharv always came late for practice hmmm...

I know it's wrong to do this but I need an answer.

Suddenly I heard the sound of someone's footsteps as the familiar face came into my view.

I waited for a second and just as he came close to the door I opened it and yanked him inside with all my strength and closed the door behind me as I placed my back attached to the door to stop him from leaving.

" Are you f*****crazy " He swears as he tries to open the door to no use.

" Yes, I am. Tell me why are you not talking to me. Yesterday everything was going well. Then what happened now what changed "I utter hurt.

" I changed, I don't need to reply to everyone. It's my choice and why are you being f***** clingy like we are a thing? You were the one who kissed me yesterday. Not me " He casually utters while avoiding my eyes.

" So, You mean I was the only one who was feeling this? For you its nothing. Atharv I am getting tired of this cat-and-mouse game. I can see in your eyes that you feel something about me too" I utter almost on the verge of crying as my eyes moved away from his eyes to his ear. He pierced his both ears. I noticed shortly.

" The feeling is of rivalry and hatred. I can never like my enemy" He uttered as his words pierced my heart. So that is how it feels when you love someone and that person doesn't reciprocate your feelings.

" Now move ! " He said deeply with anger.

" No ! I don't believe it. You are not even looking me in my eye " I said with a hurt expression.

" I HATE YOU ! ,Now happy just move !! " He said with looking me directly in my eyes as he pushed me .

i fell very brutally on the floor scratching my arms and knees. I swear i didn't saw that coming.

" Ahh " I Whimpered as i turned to look at him. Only to see a shocked expression on his face like he didn't except this to happen.

" I told you . I can't like anybody. I always bring disaster " He mutter repeatedly as first time in my life i saw his mask falling off fully and realized his mental state. He is really close to break down.

He crouches on the ground while moving his head between the legs looking vulnerable. He is so tough from the outside but inside he is broken.

I understood now the tattoo made in his body is to hide the scar he is holding in his mind.

I stood amidst the pain and ran toward him as i hugged him with all my might to comfort him as much as i can.

" Shhhh.... You don't being disaster atharv. You are no devil. For me you are my angel " I whispered as i caressed his face and wiped it which is full of panic sweat.

" I will always be there for you. Your mer cruel words are not capable to make me forget the feeling i held " I utter as i kissed him gently all over his face.

" So trust me.. " I whispered as i started to lose hope. Almost loosened my hold on him but suddenly..

" Kitty.... " He whispered as he tightened his hold on me

" Stay " He said as i burst out crying happy tears.
