chapter -23 ATHARV OR ME

" Don't say DON'T to me dear or else I will show you how bad I can be " His distant voice came as he fully closed the door.

Leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Third person pov :

Atharv walked toward his friends who were arguing with Sam's friend. Well more likely that Aarav and Ritika were fighting.

" We were asking for sam whereabouts. Cause your friend always creates trouble for her " Ritika uttered while pointing her finger at Aarav.

" Wow. Did you and your dear friends see your face in the mirror? We don't lack beauty ok. You aren't worth the dirt of our shoes " Aarav clicked his tongue.

" You are the worst Aarav. I haven't seen a more despicable person than you " Ritika said while gritting her teeth.

" Keep your thoughts to yourself shorty " Aarav uttered while walking toward her with aggression as Ritika stood straight on her ground without moving an inch keeping her eyes on him.

" Cause nobody cares or values it here " He whispered near her ear. In the next few seconds, he lightly pushed her shoulder to move her behind only to show his authority.

" Ha ! " Ritika groaned with anger.

" So what ?!" She utters while gritting her teeth and taking a step closer to him. Leaving a negligible space. Making them breathe each other breath.

" Hm. You won't imagine the consequences, dear enemy " He uttered darkly while folding his sleeves making his inky hand show along with prominent veins and muscles which flex in every moment.

" B ****" He murmured

" Who do you think you are? " She yelled aggrieved as she pushed him. While he didn't move an inch.

" You are just an unruly body with mental issues " She again pushed.

" Ritika please " He warmed.

" This is what your parents have taught you " She again pushed.

" Stop " He gritted while looking at her with red eyes.

"It's getting out of hand " Ravi murmured, as atharv ran toward them before anything wrong could happen.

" You are a loser " She broke his final straw as the next second aarav pushed her making her fall behind on the wall and her hit her head.

" Ritika !! Ritu !! " Ishika yell along with sambhavi who just reach their only to witness her friend getting injured like this.

" Ahh.. " Ritika painful screech is heard.

" Aarav ! " Atharv pushed and punched him with anger as he grabbed his collar about to hit him again..

" Atharv " Ravi grabbed his fist. As priya came between both of them.

" Atharv, she is the one who said that comment. You also know that it was his last straw " Priya argued taking aarav side.

" But it doesn't mean he can hurt a girl " Mina utter with anger.

" Can't you guys understand him " Priya continued arguing.

As aarav looked toward ritika whose head is bleeding lightly . He continued looking at her injury which is there because of him. He hurt her. Just then ritika eyes meet his who was also surrounded by her friend.

Even though they always fight and are an enemy. But this is the first time ritika looked at him with so much contempt and hatred within her moist eyes . Almost crushing his broken heart in pieces.

He struggled in atharv hold to move him. And atharv set his free because of priya who was literally begging for him.

He stood up with his weak leg and slit lips and tried to move toward her but priya stopped him and dragged him outside the hall .

Ritika also didn't meet his eyes after that. As he remain looking at her.

" What have i done " He whispered with a very grieving voice which was too light making not a single person hear him.

The R5 member all left the hall. After apologizing her.

" Ahhh... " Ritika finally broke down.

" Shhh.... " Sam consoled her.

" Lets go to hospital than it won't hurt " Ishika whispered while caressing her hair.

" Physical injury will be cured. But what about my heart. Who will cure that ? " She cried out while holding sam and ishika like her dear life.

" Rit.. ika.. Umm. Did you had feeling for aarav. " Sam hesitantly asked as ishika open her eyes wide with shock.

" .... Yes, this heart has been hurt too many times now because of him. Everytime he utter those words to me. Everytime he see me with contempt. I know he and mina are a couple. And i doesn't mean anything for him but i had a hope. May be but it is lost now sorry... I will broke that hope now cause .
Not anyone. I won't get hurt again because of him " Ritika sobbed.

" You know what hurt the most that everything was one sided. My love, his hatred everything " Ritika cried as sam hugged her tightly understanding her and ishika sobbed along with her.

" He hurt me.... How can he ? Didn't his hand shake even a little. Didn't he feel even a ounce of regret. No he didn't !! " She said with rage .

" I made a decision from tomorrow i will start my life anew. I will make him regret hurting me. And i need you guys by my side " She said while holding their hands.

" I am with you " Ishika and sam both said.

" I know about ishika but sam i am not confident about you  cause atharv is on their side " Ritika mutter while biting her nail .

" He did punched him for hurting me. But he will definitely be on his side " She said.

" So you can only be on one side so CHOOSE " Ritika ask for her promise.

" ATHARV OR ME "
