Pushing the carts up and down the isles, adding things one by one. Thank god the mafia had no price limits. You had no idea on how ordinary people were able to afford things for children. Beds, mattresses, dressers, clothes and a whole wack of other accessories for themselves and their room. It was insane as the numbers began to add up.

The little girl walked beside you and would point at the things she liked. And whatever she liked, she got. You and chuuya planned to give her whatever she pleased. She deserved the best.

Chuuya would toss boxes of furniture in, one by one. Multiple upon multiple of items of clothing sitting in the carts as well as some snacks that she thought she'd like.

There was also toys and paint cans in there. Today was going to be a hassle, possibly fun, but still a hassle to get everything set up and pulled together. It was surely going to be a very busy day.

"We have a bed, mattress, side tables, dresser, toys, paint....." you trailed off counting off your fingers. "What else?"

"I think that's all we need for now" chuuya said. "She has plenty of clothes and snacks now"

"Done" was all the little girl said as she held a small smile on her face. You and chuuya just exchanged looks before pushing the carts out of the aisle and towards the cashier. This was one pricey day.

...

Chuuya and you sat on the floor, boxes all around. Furniture pieces lied in front of you both, reading instructions that made your head spin. "These things are horrible....this is terrible to read" you complained before picking up a screw driver to begin putting pieces together.

"You'll be just fine" chuuya chuckled under his breath. He had almost had his first task complete while you were only a quarter way there. You decided on doing the bed frame; the biggest piece. You liked a challenge. "Why don't you paint the room?"

"Alright....you sure?" You asked.

"Yea. Better to get that done first before actually setting everything up" chuuya stated and you nodded before standing up.

The little girl stood beside you as you dumped the paint in to a paint tray and picked up the rolling brush. She watched your every move, entertained and interested in what you were doing. "Can I help?"

Your eyes looked down to hers and seen the smile on her face. "Of course...grab that little brush there and start rolling like me" you explained and watched her copy exactly what you did.

Chuuya watched his two girls go to work, a smile playing upon his features. He never thought for one second that he'd ever have this life with a woman....and yet here he was. He was helping build a room with the love of his life. He had an adopted daughter and he never thought he'd ever have the chance to have a family. This felt like a fairytale and he surely knew Dazai would scream if he had seen how his life was right now. Dazai always told chuuya that he'd be the first to have a family and not chuuya. How wrong he was. Dazai probably even had you in mind at that time.....but how things have changed. Chuuya had what Dazai used to want.

One wall by one, all four had been coated in the beautiful lavender after almost two hours. The furniture had almost been complete as well. Chuuya was finishing up the bed frame that you had left behind.

You were now currently setting up the girls walk in closet. One by one, shirts, sweaters, pants, and dresses were being hung up. There were some shelves in the closet, she requested her hats be placed in them. So they were. At the store, the girl wanted some cute little sun hats and beanies. You had gotten some bins to help with organization as well; one of them held her headbands in there as well as some bows and flower clips.

Next, her shoes had gotten placed on the shoe rack inside. Slowly, but surely, the closet was complete. The girls eyes sparkled as she slowly spun in circles, seeing everything she now had.

"Thank you!" She jumped with joy before hugging you tightly. It melted your heart.

"Of course" you picked her up and headed out of the closet and over to where the dresser was set up. It was a beautiful white dresser, six drawers, and a mirror on top. This was where her skirts, shorts, and pyjamas would be stored. "Why don't you go put your toys in your toy box" you suggested, placing the girl down, before you started to place the last bit of her clothing away. She nodded before prancing off to where her toy box was set up. She opened up the lid and began placing her toys inside. Majority of them Barbie's and little cars. Others were noisy things that little kids seemed to like.

Chuuya had finished setting up everything else in the room. Her gorgeous princess bed was set up finally, the mattress on top with the sheets, pillows, and blanket set up already. The little girl placed her new stuffed animals she had gotten on her bed so she could cuddle with them at night. She had a bunny, bear, and a dinosaur. That's all she liked at the store, but you'd surely get her more soon.

Her side tables were placed on each side of her bed, a little lamp on top of one. It was in the shape of a unicorn, she badored it.

In the two drawers that each side table came with were some colouring books, pencils, markers, and crayons. Just a bunch of arts and crafts things she would enjoy.

You and chuuya finished up the room with the last little touch ups, like placing her pink fluffy rug down in front of her bed and some shelves up on the walls for future items; like picture frames or cute little decorations.

After everything was done and set up, you and chuuya sat on the floor together as the little girl jumped up and down on her bed. The room was complete for now until she wanted more decorations. But as of right now; it was absolutely perfect.

"We did it" you smiled.

"Damn right we did" chuuya wrapped an arm around you as you rested your head on his shoulder.

The little girl jumped off her bed before making her way to you and chuuya. She sat on the ground and lied back to cuddle with you and chuuya. Both of your hearts absolutely melted. "Daiki" was all the girl said and you and chuuya exchanged glances. "My name" she answered your question before it could come out of your mouth.

"Daiki" you smiled. "How pretty" you ran your fingers through the girls hair, soothing her.
