Nicks POV
" Charlie I'll be right back I'm going to go check up on mum!" Charlie jumps out of bed and runs down stairs " where are you going?" Clearly he was asleep when I yelled a second before." I'm going to go check on mum and give her Nellie's leash back." " Oh ok we'll see you later" I kiss him goodbye and get in the car. I hope char is doing well he's been sleeping a lot more than usual which he normally does after a relapse. I plan on talking to him after I talk with mum. I park the car and grab Nellie's leash and head towards the door. I ring the doorbell no answer. I ring again no answer. Mums car is here so she should be here. I knock loudly and yell" Mum I'm here!" I guess she may be asleep since it's still early. I look under the mat for the spare key. I grab it and walk through the door and see the worst sight I could ever see...

I see mum laying lifeless on the kitchen floor. " MUM!" I scream as dropping everything and running towards her. I check her pulse and see she's still breathing that took a bit off my chest my she's still unconscious. I hold her up and just hug her while I call 911.
"911 whats your emergency?"
" I came over to my mums house and I see her passed out on the floor" I practically sob to the lady
" Do you know how to check her pulse?" She ask
" I did she's still alive. Please come help my mum I can't lose her" I tell her my address and she tells me they will be here quickly and she hangs up. I sit there just crying into my mother. My own mother is just sitting her and I can't do anything to help. I'm just sitting here crying not helping. I sit there waiting for what seems like forever I hear the sirens. Paramedics burst through the door and immediately start helping mum. " How long has she been passed out?" Still sobbing I reply. " I don't know I came here 10 minutes ago and just saw her like this." They check her vitals and everything and load her into the ambulance. They zoom off to the hospital and I follow.

That whole drive I just kept thinking if this is the last time I see my mum. I think about every conversation we have had. But mainly our last one. I came over to talk to Abigail. She said that she wanted to talk with me about something. But when I got there I notice there is an extra car there. David. I walk in and of course the second my foot steps into that house his comments start. That leads to a fight and before I fully lose it I grab Nellie's leash and Nellie and go on a walk. After about 30 minutes I start to walk back to the house I see David is still there so I open the door let Nellie go in and I head towards my car. Mum comes running out trying to talk to me.
" Nicky please come in and talk." Basically begging me to.
" Mum I can't handle him right now I'll come over in a couple days and we can talk then."
" Ok I love you Nicky."
" Love you too mum."

I get snap out of my day dream and notice we are at the hospital. They rush her back and tell me that when she gets moved to a visiting room I can see her but for now I would have to stay in the lobby. I step outside and call Charlie. 
" Hey Nick, everything ok?"
" Mum passed out and I'm at the hospital."
" Oh nick.. I'm so sorry. Do you want me to come there"
" Yes please"
" ok I'll be there soon love you"
" Love you too char"
I hang up and just sit there. Thinking and Thinking. Thinking about mums life, David and me auguring were probably a lot of it. At least me and Abigail are close. Shit Abigail.

I immediately text her saying I'm coming to get her. " Are you Sarah Nelson's son?"
" Yes is she ok?" I can see that Abby keeps texting me but I have to make sure mums ok.
" she's awake now but we still need to run some test"
The doctor shows me to her room and lets me talk with her.
" Oh Nicky " my mom says weakly
" Are you ok?" I ask her
" Oh I'll be fine darling don't worry about me. I need you to go get Abigail.  I want to talk with her."
" Ok are you sure you'll be ok alone?"
" Yes darling"
I say goodbye to her and get in my car and text Abigail I'm on her way. I don't know what I'll say to her. Her and Mum are super close since it's just them most of the time. I mean I go over there at least once a week and David goes maybe once a month. Obviously I knew mum would pass so I tried to keep a good relationship with Abigail and I've always admired Charlie's and Oliver's relationship.

I pull up to the school and just see Abby standing there. I honked the horn and she looks up and comes to the car. She already seems upset and now I have to make it worse for her

" Nick is something wrong why did you come get me?"
" It's about mum. I went over there to go talk to her but when I walked in she was passed out and so I called 911 and now she's at hospital. She wanted me to come get you saying she wanted to talk to you." Tears start pouring out her ocean blue eyes. It hurts my heart so much cause I have never see like this before. I hug her and hold her tight. I can feel my shirt dampen but i  don't care I just want her to feel better. After about 10 minutes just sitting there she calms down a bit and we drive towards the hospital.

Authors Note: Hey guys! I tried writing a new chapter so hopefully you guys will enjoy it more. My grandma is coming this week so I don't know how much I'll be able to write but i can definitely do at least one chapter maybe 2. Love you all!
