Chapter 2: Honorary WHAT?!

Peter walks into school and he can feel the whole vibe shift. Everyone's on edge, petrified to go outside. As he walks towards his locker to meet up with Ned and Mj, he hears from various devices the news.

"Peter, you might want to see this" Ned states as soon as Peter walks up to them.

Ned turns his phone around and Peters eyes goes wide.

"His latest attack was on a teenage boy named Davis Gonzelli with no hope to save him. I'm on scene right now with police and about to show Mirrikh's new mark on his victim" Gale Waltz informs before the camera man moves the camera, focusing on the victim getting carried onto a stretcher.

As the victim gets put onto the stretcher, the camera man zooms onto a carved ace on his forehead.

Peter feels sick. The ace symbol is carved onto the boys forehead sends a whiplash through his own brain. Only Queens police calls him that.

"There can't be an undercover cop right? He would've killed you or locked you up or something" Ned rambles, panicking along with Peter.

"What if he's been following you or eavesdropping? He can be a hacker for all we know" Mj points out.

"But my senses haven't been randomly or suspiciously going off" Peter responds.

"Wait but what about the other cops? Only that one station in Queens likes you but all of the others doesn't like your other...self" Ned reasons.

"That could be possible and they could've just known my nickname from like a radio or if they were at the station when I was or something" Peter figures.

"This murderer seems too skillful to be a cop though" Mj claims.

"It's the best we got" Peter shrugs.

All day Peter couldn't get Davis out of his mind. If he just stayed out a little bit later maybe he could've helped him but at the same time, he couldn't even save the last two victims. He just missed the second victim when he heard her scream bloody murder.

Today is Wednesday so after AcaDec practice he gets to go to the tower for his internship. Maybe he can talk with Tony about surveillance cameras in each alleyway or something.

Peters thoughts gets caught off when his senses warns him of Flash. Without a second, a paper ball hits Peter in the back of his head. He rolls his eyes but picks it up anyway before giving it to Mj. She likes to send messages back to Flash to taunt him, mainly with crisis drawings of himself.

"Hey guys!" Peter greets as he throws his bag on the floor and joins everyone at the kitchen counter.

"Hey kid, what's up?" Tony asks.

"My friends and I were wondering if you can put like high tech security cameras in all of the alleyways so we can catch Mirrikh" Peter explains.

"You're trying to catch Mirrikh?" Clint questions.

"I mean yeah, he's in Queens and he's murdering teenagers. I'm not going to let him get away with that for the whole month and then move onto the next borough next year like nothing happened" Peter points out.

"He's a serial killer!" Tony practically shouts.

"So are you going to help with the idea or not?" Peter wonders getting back on track.

"Even if I wanted to, I can't. There's like a billion alleyways in Queens and no matter how reinforce it is, this guy can probably destroy it. Now, let's go over the serial part again" Tony reprimands.
