Chapter 4: So, You Got Detention

"Did you get her blood?" Ned asks.

"Yeah and he took her right arm. Why would someone do that?" Peter asks.

"He's a psycho" Mj responds.

Since today is Friday and movie night at the avengers tower, Peter is going to be able to test Cynthia's blood for any mutations.

"Let us know what the results are" Mj tells him.

"I will" Peter nods.

"So who's turn is it to pick out the movie?" Ned wonders switching the topic.

"Mine but I may have accidentally slipped that Steve does PSA's so we're watching that tonight" Peter informs.

"NO WAY! Man I would love to see Cap telling the avengers about their changing bodies!" Ned laughs.

"I know right!" Peter chuckles.

"Doesn't Wade watch them religiously?" Mj questions.

"Only when he wants to annoy Matt but I think he does watch them on his own time..." Peter trails off. "He was going to let me borrow them but I reminded him that Mr. Stark has an AI who can just pull it up and Steve might try to burn it."

"But then you can talk to him about how dangerous a fire can be!" Ned jokes making Peter laugh right as the bell rings.

It's lunch time and the trio is huddled around Peter who has his computer out and is in the police files.

"He took a head?!" Ned whisper yells.

"Last year" Mj nods remembering seeing that on the news.

"Why does he take a limb from each of his victims? It doesn't make sense besides saying he's a psycho. He has to have some reason like if he's planning to do something with these stuff" Peter claims.

"He has to be hiding it somewhere. Maybe if you find that you'll find him" Mj figures.

"What did he carve on her? I didn't catch it on the news" Ned wonders.

"A skull head...it was so detailed. I got there in twenty seconds after hearing her scream. How does he do this so fast? He's neater this year than last" Peter admits. "Wade said he's a former Hydra agent and left because he wasn't of higher power and knew Hydra was getting too sloppy for him."

"What if he takes their body parts so he can give himself their powers if they have any?" Ned theorizes.

"But why not just take their blood?" Peter questions.

"Maybe so we can figure out what he's doing so we can be scared of him?" Ned guesses shrugging his shoulders.

"You remember when you told us how you were meditating with Danny and how you were able to solely focus on your powers specifically your tingle? What if you do that one night and it leads you to him before he kills" Mj suggests.

"That's genius! I'll try that tomorrow if the blood doesn't get me anywhere" Peter plans.

"This is so cool! It's like your tingle is a whole different person! It's like your own bloodhound or something!" Ned gushes.

"Well hopefully this is going to work" Peter hums.

"Kid what are you doing? Is that blood?" Tony questions as Peter pours blood into the DNA tester. "You could've just asked if you wanted to test your blood to see if there are anymore changes.

"This isn't my blood" Peter informs.

"Oh god, please tell me Lj isn't pregnant" Tony pleads almost making Peter drop the bottle.
