~in the 6th week of pregnancy ~

I am now 6 weeks pregnant. I asked Sakura for my maternity pass and received it three days later. Sakura and Hinata will also help me with the birth, which honestly reassures me a lot. I also passed the blood test in the 4th week of pregnancy, where my blood group was determined with the rhesus factor, antibody screening test, luest, haemoglobin determination, iron value, then I was tested for chlamydia. In addition, I had the desired services done, where I got the certificate for my employer and I was tested for rubella, chickenpox and toxoplasmosis. Fortunately, everything is negative.

My first maternity check-up with ultrasound is in three weeks' time, and my boys definitely want to come along.

But in the first 6 weeks I realised again how much the pregnancy was taking its toll on me. I'm always very nauseous in the morning, then I'm exhausted all day, so much so that I had to leave most of it to kawaki. Today I wanted to pull myself together, I was working from home, I had to skim a few texts and see if there were any mistakes. Then I also had to analyse experiments and results. I actually coped very well with this, in between I read my book or did the housework.

"Mum, you need to relax too. You're still overworking yourself."

"You're right, I'm sorry," I said and lay down for a while.
Tsuki sat down next to me and played with my hand. He took each of my fingers individually in his hand and stroked my hand. Then he moved closer to me and laid his head carefully on my chest. "Do you know when your dad is coming back?"

Tsuki's pov

After a while, I realised that Mum had fallen asleep. I really feel sorry for mum, all these complaints and all the prohibitions and rules, but I know that mum will manage. Nevertheless, I don't really know this broken side of mum, before in the Iron Kingdom she always gave 200% to make sure I was well and that everything was fine. But now she also has Dad, who is a great help to Mum, even if Mum sometimes resists.

One evening, Dad had to help Mum with the washing. Mum was completely exhausted that day, she was exhausted and could hardly move. I was honestly eavesdropping on where they were in the bathroom, I heard Dad laughing at some point, Mum was apparently turning bright red.

While Mum rested for a while, I got up and fetched my Dino and a book, then went back and sat with Mum again.

After a few minutes, Dad came straight into the living room and looked at me.

"Well, little one, is everything all right with you?" Dad whispered, sitting down next to Mum.

"I'm fine, mum's had a bit of a run," I replied quietly. Dad's eyes wandered to mum and looked a little angry? I don't know what emotion that was.

"Typical," he whispered.
