It was nearing the end of the day since Pomni had joined the circus crew, she laid there in her bed while staring blankly up at the ceiling, the red drapes hanging from her bed shuffled around in the air as Pomni's mind was in a frantic.

She felt as if nothing was coming to mind as she thinks, she really cant feel anything at all within her limps, it was as if she was fatigued even though she was feeling perfectly fine, after all this was the digital world.

As the hopeless feeling crept up to Pomni, an erratic knocking was heard outside her door which completely caught her off guard from her "productive" moment of self reflection.

Y/N: Uh Pomni? Can You Let Me In? Please!? THERE'S A SOFT SHELL TURTLES WALKING TOWARDS ME RIGHT NOW.

Y/N shrieked in a child like manner as he kept on knocking more and more, Pomni felt a mix of curiosity and annoyance as she walked up towards the door and unlocked it.

In a flash, Pomni was immediately knocked to the floor as Y/N sprinted right in and fearfully shut the door before the small yet terrifying turtle made its way inside, he proceeds the lock the door and took a breather.

He made his way towards Pomni who laid there on the ground, she felt hurt but she didn't seem bothered by it, only really looking up to look at Y/N who kindly reaches his hand out to her with no hesitation.

Y/N: are you okay?

Pomni: uh... yeah, t-thanks."

She mumbled in a unsure manner as she hesitated to take Y/N's hand, a million of thoughts swarmed her mind as she was feeling the pain of regret and worthlessness, why couldn't she just, not feel this way.

Y/N: Pomni!

He exclaimed this time, Pomni was shook out of her train of thoughts as she didn't realize that she was blocking out everything that Y/N was saying earlier

Pomni: Huh? Wha?

Y/N: Pomni... ARE you okay?

He asked while tilting his head in concern, as much as he felt a little betrayed by Pomni's attempted escape earlier, he had the feeling that maybe she felt the same way too.

Pomni: *shrugged her crossed arms* I-i don't know...

Y/N looks at her with worry, he starts to remember himself being in a similar situation as Pomni was and he felt determined to make sure she wasn't gonna be alone in all this.

Y/N: you wanna talk about it? *he walks around til he sits on a lettered block that was next to her bed*

Pomni: what's there to talk about... is it really gonna matter?.

She spoke with a doubtful tone, Y/N wasn't gonna give up there as he held up another smile.

Y/N: I don't know, but why don't we figure it out together? *a twinkle blinked out of my smile*

Pomni felt herself relaxing a bit and she decided to play along with it as the depression turned from pickaxes mining her mind away to small crumbles from eating a cookie.

Pomni: okay... like what? *she plops herself onto her bed*

Y/N: Hm, likeee how are you feeling right now?

He curiously asked her, Pomni looked away as she was in deep thoughts of about how she is at the moment and so far, nothing but emptiness and doubt is present.

Pomni: I don't know... tired? It's just, a lot of nothing I guess, I mean we're only digital so maybe that's why I feel... nothing.

Pomni: *she glared up at Y/N*

Y/N: I mean, you probably don't see the point in living around here cause it's not real, am I getting somewhere?

He asked Pomni, who looked at him with surprise as he emphasized with her, she felt her barriers cracking as she simply shrugged once again

Pomni: I guess you've hit the spot. *she said sheepishly*

Y/N: I thought so.

Before he could continue on, he was interrupted by Pomni again, so far it's the only time that she has remotely opened up to anyone here at the circus.

Pomni: W-well why do you put up with it then? W-why do anything if it's not gonna be important...

Y/N: Pomni... *I stood up to sit right next to Pomni* i was just like you when I joined, it's honestly depressing being here, it was for everyone I bet.

As Y/N lightly nudged her in the shoulder, Pomni glanced up towards him and the two made eye contact along with the foundations for a bond slowly being created at this moment.

He asked her as she dropped her tense shoulders and for once, maybe she didn't feel so bad about being here in the circus, but the moment didn't last long as Caine spawns in randomly, scaring the two characters into jumping away from one another.

Caine: AHHHH! Hey Pomni! Guess what?

He exclaimed his question at her directly as he completely ignored Y/N being around in her room alone.

Pomni: no.

He completely shuts up Y/N from speaking any further and without consent of Pomni, he grabs hold of her arm as he dragged her away from her room.

Once Caine amd Pomni was away from her room, Y/N was left alone to contemplate his life after getting thrusted with all this new information.

Caine Pops right back in as he knocks Y/N out of her bed.
