It had been a couple hours since they fell asleep when Sakusa woke up to just himself on the couch, a cold feeling he started to not like. He was a little confused to how Atsumu got off the couch without waking him, as he was a light sleeper.

Ignoring the thought he got up to look for Atsumu, who was using the bathroom. "Atsumu? Why did you get up?" He was definitely still sleeping while asking the question. "I just had to use the bathroom. Come on let's go back to sleep."

He was finishing up washing his hands when saying that, turning to Sakusa leading him to the bedroom. "Let's sleep on the bed." Atsumu knew he was going to wake up sore from sleeping on the couch the next morning.

"Ok." Sakusa immediately flopped onto the bed going back to sleep. "Were you really still that tired?" Atsumu whisper asked as to not wake Sakusa back up.

Atsumu cuddled Sakusa from behind, whispering sweet nothings as he was trying to go back to sleep himself. It was now morning when Sakusa felt like someone was staring at them, they were still cuddling.

He opened his eyes to his mother staring them down with a confused expression on her face. "Who is this?" Was all she could ask as she had never seen the blond boy before.

"He's my friend, from school." Sakusa was terrified of what his mother was going to do, or even think about their relationship. So he chose to keep it a secret for now.

"Get up, I want you to come down stairs." Her tone was something Sakusa had never heard before, something that sounded like she was disappointed and confused all at once.

Walking down the stairs after taking a deep breath Sakusa stopped at the kitchen table. "What? Am I not allowed to have friends over?" He was trying not to sound like the world was going to end. "I didn't say that. I'm just confused why he was in your bed." His mother crossed her arms.

"Because we're close? And he needed somewhere to sleep" Sakusa's expression was the same as his mother's now. "But you don't let anyone get that close to you, even your cousin." He knew she was going to say something along those lines.

Knowing this conversation wasn't going to get anywhere he walked away to wake Atsumu up. But not before his mother tried to protest. "Hey! Don't walk away from me!"

Ignoring his mother walking back up the stairs Sakusa was fighting back tears, she wasn't even supposed to come home until much later. Why was his luck so bad at times?

Walking into his room he sat on the bed where Atsumu was still sleeping soundly. Admiring the amazing boy in front of him, he pushed the hair out of his face waking him up gently.

"Atsumu, please wake up." He was desperate, wanting the comfort from him. Opening his eyes he saw Sakusa crying. "What happened?" He woke right up when he saw him in such a state.

"My mother." He was starting to hyperventilate clawing at Atsumu hoping he would do something. "Sakusa it's ok. I'm right here, try to take a deep breath." Atsumu had seen him cry but not like this. Just how bad was his mother?

Sakusa did as Atsumu instructed but to no avail he was still having trouble breathing. "Sakusa look at me." Atsumu was hugging him, stroking his hair. "Let's do this together breath in, one, two, three...." They did some breathing exercises together Sakusa finally calming down.

"You don't have to tell me what happened but I'll listen if you want me too." Atsumu was hugging him tighter hoping he would open up if even a little bit. "She saw us cuddling and questioned who you were." Even though he calmed down a tear still rolled down his cheek.
