School started for Demeter recently. You guys met in June and it was now September.
Tonight was what Demeter called "Homecoming"
She said she might not be able to visit tonight cause' she was nominated "homecoming court"
Even if she wasn't coming, you still waited for her at the dock.
An hour had passed and she still hadn't come. You were about to leave before you heard someone approaching the dock, and by their scent, you could tell who it was.
"Demeter?" You questioned as you peeked above the dock.
It was her, indeed. She was dressed in a pink, floral, high-low dress. The floral details were roses. Her hair was in a half-up half-down style. On top of her head was a small tiara.
"Sorry for being so late! My friends wanted to party for a bit." She smiled and sat down on the dock.
"Awh... You didn't have to ditch the party for me.." You felt sort of bad, you probably interrupted her fun.
"Don't feel bad! Being here with you sounds far better than any party does." She grinned at you, you felt yourself blush.
It was silent for a second before Demeter spoke again, this time she was shy.
"Y/N... Have you... Does your species feel love...?" She shyly fidgeted with a strand of her hair.
You thought for a moment. How do you answer that?
"I... think so?" You replied, unsure.
"So... what if I said... that maybe... you know... I love you? Or something like that..." Demeter scratched the back of her neck timidly.
You paused.
Sera taught you something recently. You obviously loved Demeter. Does this mean Demeter loves you too?
Sera said to be bold.
You bit your lip before making a decision.
You decided you would show Demeter her love was reciprocated.
You grabbed onto Demeter, craning her head towards yours and closing the gap.
She was surprised at first, but soon enough leaned into it.
You slowly pulled away, a bright blush dusting your cheeks.
"D-Does that answer your question?" You managed to squeak out through your flustered state.
Demeter giggled before pulling you back in for another kiss.
Oh, Demeter...
