I put my hands up, while plopping my butt right into the cushion.
"You've got some nerves talking down on me." He took the spicy ramen out of the white grocery bag.
"Yeah, well you've got some nerves talking down on me." I emphasized the word me. He groaned taking a step towards a cabinet. He bent down, causing me to look away.
"Do you have anything to drink? Maybe water?" I got up until I felt a cold bottle hit my forehead.
"Water. Happy?" He got a pot and put the ramen inside of it.
"Sure." I opened the water bottles lid drinking the cold substance.
I sit back. This was not part of showing the pro's I wasn't a threat. But spicy ramen was well spicy ramen so of course I'd stay and eat. I watch as he pauses cooking to turn the television on.
"A mysterious new villain has anchored their way into Hosu! Killing thousands of civilians. Over two hundred teens and kids. Ages eight to sixteen." The reporters hair was blowing as the news cut to a clip of what looked to be a new villain. Dead bodies displayed everywhere. Buildings torn and civilians standing outside homes looking like they've just been woken up from their thousand year nap.
"They need to toughen up. It's pathetic." He grunts walking back to the stove to mix.
"They aren't pathetic. Bakugo, their lives were taken by a villain. It's not like they can just inch their way backwards and escape. Whatever the villain did, did a lot of damage to cause that many deaths in under who knows. I'm estimating around four hours." I counted on my fingers.
"And what do you know about being a hero? You should go work with the detectives maybe that's your future job." He poured a lot of extra spices into the mix.
"That's a lot of spices." I swung my left leg over my right.
"Too much spice? Can't handle the spicy levels. You pussy." He laughed. "You're a sad little-"
The news reporter came on television, an amber alert. "A girl has gone missing. A picture of her has popped up to the right. The pro hero known as Eraser Head says he saw her last an hour ago. If found please bring her home." My face was on the tv as Bakugo dropped his bowl of ramen.
"Are you running away?" He eyed me.
"No..." I cross my arms and sip the water. "A fresh air break if you will."
"If they find out you're in my home, I might loose my damn position as the next big thing!" He moves to my side.
"Relax. They have lost their marbles. I'll go home." I stood up yawning. "Thanks for cooking. But I can't stay." I opened his front door.
"You're not leaving. Did you just hear. The villain from Hosu moved over here. I don't know if you caught that much. But I doubt you did. So, sit. I'll call Aizawa and say your fatass is eating at my house." He closed the door.
I wanted to negotiate but he shushed me. "You'll shut the fuck up."
I knew I should probably run, far away from this place. But people would be looking for me. Blondie handed me a bowl with chop sticks.
"Eat up. After you're done, I'll call Aizawa." He slouched right beside me on the couch.
"Thanks." Picking up the chopsticks I put the spicy ramen into my mouth slurping.
The door was opened and in came Hawks. "Y/n, what the hell?" I tensed, sitting up straighter, still slurping.
