Kriyansh Pov,

I heard Advik's voice calling from outside. "Hey, Kriyansh, come on, let's play football!" I glanced out the window to see Advik eagerly waiting.

He is really enthusiastic when it came to sports.

"Sure, just give me a minute to get ready!" I called back.

Quickly changing into my sports gear, I grabbed a football and headed outside.

"Kuthe chalas? Anghol tari kelis ka?" My mom shouted from behind.

(Where are you going? Have you even had a bath?)

"Khelun alyavar karto" I said while stepping out of the house in a hurry before she could stop me.

(I'll do it when I come back after playing)

Advik started his bike, and we headed to the ground.

As we reached, we saw Hetvik sitting at distance and was scrolling through his phone

As we reached, we saw Hetvik sitting at distance and was scrolling through his phone.

Advik looked at Hetvik with a smirk. "Since when have you been waiting?"

Hetvik shrugged casually. "I just got back from the gym."

I looked the empty ground and asked, "Where are the others?"

Hetvik replied, "They are coming, but is it necessary to play in this scorching sun?"

Advik sighed, "They challenged us; I couldn't deny."

Hetvik scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief. "What are we, a bunch of 16-year-olds? Besides, I don't want to get a tan."

Advik chuckled. "Come on, Hetvik. What's a little tan when no girl will even look at you anyway?"

Hetvik shot a glare at Advik. "Speak for yourself. Some of us like to keep our options open."

I squinted through the sun, "I'm with Hetvik. We should come back in the evening. Playing in this heat doesn't sound like a good idea."

Advik insisted, "No way! We can't back down from a challenge."

I took my phone out and started scrolling, "I'm not playing, you all can continue."

Advik rolled his eyes. "Oh, come on, Kriyansh. Where's your enthusiasm? Besides, a little sweat will not hurt you."

Just then, others entered through the gate, I sat down, determined not to step out of the shed in this unbearable heat. However, Atharva started to mock me as soon as he entered,

"Kriyansh isn't playing? Did he already give up before he could lose?" Atharva was clearly challenging me, and a few others chuckled, egging him on.

I was casually leaning against the shed, but I straightened up at the comment. My competitive nature couldn't resist a challenge, especially one wrapped in sarcasm.
