Prince Lyxander sat at the heavy oak table, his eyes fixed on Master Ellias, who stood before him holding an ordinary sword.
"This is a common sword, wielded by many but empowered by none," he began, holding the blade aloft.
"Every individual possesses a unique magic affinity that can be imbued into their weapon, transforming it into a powerful conduit of their elemental magic."
With a swift motion, Master Ellias imbued the sword with his water magic. The blade shimmered, and a wave of energy pulsed through it, sending ripples through the air.
"It was an ordinary sword before but when I infused it with my magic it became the Riptide Scimitar. It wields the fluidity of water, allowing it to cut with hydro pressure and summon powerful waves."
Prince Lyxander watched in awe as the demonstration unfolded before him.
"Each affinity has its own unique sword," Master Ellias continued.
"Allow me to explain the different type of sword and it's power."
He gestured towards an array of illustrated scrolls depicting various magical swords:
Emberstorm Blade (Fire Magic User)
This sword can ignite in searing flames, scorching enemies and launching devastating fireballs. The wielder controls the intensity and spread of the flames, making it a formidable offensive weapon.
Glacialis Edge (Ice Magic User)
This blade radiates intense cold, freezing anything it touches. It enables the wielder to conjure ice shards and create barriers of ice for both defense and attack.
Tempestbringer Saber (Lightning Magic User)
It was charged with electrical energy, this sword delivers powerful shocks with each strike. It can also summon lightning bolts from the sky, striking enemies from a distance.
Whisperwind Cutter (Wind Magic User)
The blade that enhances the wielder's speed, creating razor-sharp wind slashes that can cut through opponents. It can also generate gusts of wind strong enough to knock foes off their feet or create a protective barrier.
Geodecrusher (Earth Magic User)
