Princess Lyra stood before the heavy oak door of the royal office, taking a deep breath before knocking firmly.

She heard a faint acknowledgment from within, and she made her presence known.

"It's Lyra," she called.

"Come in," came King Eirian's authoritative voice.

Pushing the door open, Princess Lyra entered the chamber, finding her brother, King Eirian, seated behind a grand desk piled with documents and scrolls.

He looked up from his work, his stern features softening slightly at the sight of his sister.

"Good morning, Lyra," he greeted, motioning for her to sit.

"Good morning, brother," she replied, taking the offered seat.

"I wanted to inform you that today, I plan to awaken Prince Lyxander's magic affinity."

King Eirian's interest was piqued, and he leaned back in his chair.

"And how is he developing?" he inquired.

"Lyxander is doing exceptionally well," Princess Lyra said with a proud smile.

"I believe it might be time to advance his training."

Eirian nodded thoughtfully.

"I trust your judgment, Lyra. You decide whether he's ready."

There was a brief silence as Lyra considered her next words.

"I have another matter to discuss brother. Why did you choose Rhys to be Lyxander's personal guard?"

Eirian's eyes grew distant as he recalled the past.

"I felt that Rhys could be trusted with Lyxander's safety," he began.

"I first saw him at the Norhall Grand Arena. He stood out immediately, not just for his skill but for his composure. He defeated the Five Elite Warriors with remarkable ease."

Princess Lyra's eyes widened in surprise.

"I had no idea Rhys was so skilled," she murmured, clearly impressed.

Eirian continued, "I didn't just place Rhys with Lyxander for protection. I believed Rhys could also guide him, be a model for his development."

Lyra's expression turned serious.

"I still find Rhys too mysterious for my liking. That's why I've ordered my elite forces to investigate his background."

King Eirian smiled warmly at his sister's concern.

"Thank you, Lyra. It means a lot to me how much you care for Lyxander."

Lyra nodded, a determined glint in her eye.

"I just want to ensure his safety and his path forward. I'll do everything in my power to support him."

"You're a good sister and an invaluable mentor, Lyra," Eirian said. "I trust your instincts. Let's see what the future holds for Lyxander."
