Hoshina Hikaru (星奈ひかる, Hoshina Hikaru?) is one of the five main Cures in Star☆Twinkle Pretty Cure, and she is also the group leader. She is a second-year student at Mihoshi Middle School.
Hikaru's alter ego is Cure Star (キュアスター, Cure Star?) and she is known as the Pretty Cure of Stars. Her catchphrase is "Twincool~☆" (「キラやば～っ☆」, "Twincool~☆"?), which was inherited from her father.
Hikaru is an imaginative and curious second-year student who loves constellations and space. She can be rather stubborn too, in which she will investigate anything that interests her thoroughly and acts on intuition.
Her Best Friend on Winter Parade is Kurokawa Ellen. And they spend their time together almost all time, and she's always listening Ellen when she have a problem. Making them the main duo.
