As the chaotic battle raged on, explosions began erupting in every direction, engulfing everything in their path. Alex and Darkrai were caught in one of these explosions, which rocked the entire Multiverse. They glitched into a star going supernova, but with Time halted, nothing happened immediately. However, when Time resumed for a few brief seconds, the supernova's explosion struck Alex and Darkrai at point-blank range before Time paused once more.

The battle between Palkia and Primal Dialga continued, each strike causing the Multiverse to tremble and glitch. Every clash between their immense powers sent shockwaves rippling through the fabric of reality.

In one of Palkia's attacks, it brought countless parallel dimensions crashing into Primal Dialga. The impact caused the Multiverse to glitch even more violently, with explosions tearing through the fabric of space and time. Untold numbers of dimensions and timelines ceased to exist, the destruction spreading like wildfire.

Alex, still reeling from the supernova blast, knew he had to act quickly. Despite the pain and disorientation, he could see Darkrai struggling too. He mustered his remaining strength, determined to end this battle once and for all.

"You won't win, Darkrai," Alex shouted, his voice echoing through the chaotic void. "This ends now!"

Darkrai, visibly weakened but still defiant, snarled back, "Peasant! You have no idea what you're meddling with!"

With renewed determination, Alex charged at Darkrai. The two clashed once more, their battle intertwined with the epic confrontation between Palkia and Primal Dialga. The fate of the Multiverse hung in the balance as explosions and glitches continued to ravage reality itself.

As every dimension and timeline in the Multiverse struggled to survive the cataclysmic events, a sense of impending doom spread like wildfire. The fabric of reality was unraveling, and inhabitants from all corners of existence wondered what was happening. Was this the end of everything?

In one universe, a frantic Flamigo flapped its wings wildly, shouting, "The end is here! And you all called me crazy! Who's the crazy one now?!"

In another, many took the chaos as a divine sign, believing that only the worthy would be accepted into heaven. In the capital of Pome in 300 A.D., a Wigglytuff stood on a crumbling pedestal, preaching, "Apocalypse is upon us! God hath foretold that in the end times, He shall come and judge everyone!"

Other universes and timelines speculated that this was the wrath of God Darkrai, preparing for a great purge. In the universe where only 151 species of Pokémon existed, a Magneton relayed grim news, "Intel from the Indigo League indicates that God Darkrai has complete control. It also says that it has had enough of us."

Despite the myriad interpretations, from divine wrath to cosmic judgment, one thing was universally agreed upon across every dimension and timeline: the end was near.

The Multiverse was on the brink, and its inhabitants could only watch in fear and uncertainty as their realities crumbled around them.

As the battle raged on between Alex and Darkrai, Alex knew deep down that Darkrai had the upper edge. With each passing moment, Alex found it harder and harder to land a hit.

"You don't get it! If this keeps up... you will bring something truly evil...! Stop Palkia! Why do you hate my paradise?! It's perfect!" Darkrai shouted, slashing at Alex with its scythe.

Alex grunted, deflecting the blows as best he could. "This isn't perfect! You need to go to a mental hospital! Also, I'm not a dumbass, so nice try, but I'm not giving up!"

Darkrai facepalmed itself in frustration. "Ugh! You will be one if you don't stop this now!"

The battle raged on, the intensity only growing. Alex knew deep in his heart that he wouldn't be able to beat Darkrai alone. Each blow felt heavier, each movement more labored. The odds were stacked against him, but giving up wasn't an option.

As Darkrai sneered, "You won't be able to overpower me," a spark of realization ignited in Alex's mind.

He recalled Guildmaster Altaria's advice: to think instead of always relying on brute strength. He also remembered the time when the Eon Pokémon tested him on his knowledge.

As Alex managed to escape an explosion, he thought to himself, ("The only way to defeat Darkrai is with intelligence.")

Dodging Darkrai's attacks and the chaotic explosions, Alex noticed the Red Chain on Darkrai's head.

"Aha!" Alex exclaimed, formulating a plan to destroy the Red Chain.

Despite his efforts, Darkrai thwarted his attempts, leaving Alex further damaged and exhausted. However, when an explosion launched Darkrai forward, Alex got another idea: use the next explosion to propel himself towards Darkrai.

Positioning himself carefully, Alex waited for an explosion to launch him. As the explosion occurred, Alex readied a Force Palm and rocketed towards Darkrai, who was prepared to end the fight once and for all.

A loud sound echoed as Darkrai, with a huge smirk, threw Alex to the ground, impaling him in the heart with its scythe. Blood gushed from Alex.

However, Alex managed a weak smirk as he held up a broken piece of the Red Chain.

"No! The Red Chain?!" Darkrai yelled in horror, seeing the shattered, non-functioning chain.

As Darkrai continued to fret over the broken Red Chain, Alex let out a weak chuckle before finally succumbing to his wounds and collapsing as he felt he was done for.

"You! I will get you for this! Don't worry, I will kill you! I will annihilate you!" Darkrai yelled as it lunged towards Alex.

However, before Darkrai could strike, it was abruptly halted in Time, its form greying out and freezing in place.
