Vegeta raised his arm, about to knock out Goku when suddenly, Buu's ki increased, and a large shockwave rippled throughout the planet, Babidi's ki was gone.
Vegeta, shocked, puts his arm back down, glancing at Goku as Goku looks back with a worried expression. "You feel that, Vegeta? It looks like Buu killed Babidi... I knew they didn't get along very well, but, to kill him this soon..?"
Goku's eyes widen as he does not feel any trace of Gohan's ki, gritting his teeth before sighing, having no time to worry about Gohan's death, as they can just use the Dragon Balls once this is over.
Goku shakes his head, taking out his last senzu and splitting it in half, giving one half to Vegeta as he eats the other. "Take this, we'll head to the lookout and get Dende to heal us completely. We'll need all the energy we can get..."
Vegeta reluctantly agrees, taking the half-senzu and eating it.
Vegetaz already anticipating Goku's next words, grabs hold of his shoulder, whilst Goku chuckles, before putting his index and middle finger to his forehead, using the instant transmission technique to go to the lookout.
Once there, Goku steps away from Vegeta as he speaks. "Wait here, I'll get the others."
Vegeta simply scoffs, as Goku vanishes once more, and after a few seconds, he arrives with everybody.
After everybody is safely placed on the lookout, Goku walks up to Dende, putting his hands together as he speaks. "Hey, Dende! Could yah heal me and Vegeta?"
Dende heals Goku, but when Vegeta walks up, Dende turns his head.
Vegeta smirks, chuckling as he speaks. "You don't want to heal me? It's fine, this is not the first time."
Dende then turns back to look at Vegeta, putting his hands up and healing him as he speaks. "You've changed, Vegeta... I can see it as clearly as Goku can..."
Vegeta is a bit taken aback, blushing a bit out of embarrassment as Goku giggles.
Goku then speaks in a more serious tone. "Alright, Vegeta, we'll have to go into the time chamber, we both have enough time for at least a few weeks, considering the time we've already spent in there.
Vegeta raises an eyebrow as he speaks. "Do you think that training for that long would help defeat Majin Buu..?"
Goku shakes his head. "No, it's not that, you see, in the otherworld, I met a few meta morans, and they have this nifty technique called-"
Vegeta cuts him off. "Fusion. Yes, I've heard about them in my time as a planet conquerer, they were quite fierce, so much so that even one of their fusions killed multiple fleets of Frieza's men."
Goku nods, speaking seriously. "Good, this makes this process easier. I'm assuming you know what we'll have to do now, right? The fusion dance"
Vegeta nods entering the time chamber, Goku looks at Vegeta as they enter the room of spirit and time. "Hey, Vegeta, your mark is gone."
Vegeta rubs his forehead. "We'll, that's good, it's most likely because Babidi is dead..."
Goku nods.
