On The Bus

Kiyone was sitting on the bus. She had cut her hair short as always so if she needed to engage in combat it wouldn't get in the way or be a liability. Her hair reached her shoulders as she sat on the bus awaiting to reach her new school.

Office Lady: Hey can you please get up so this lady can sit down?

Kiyone- For a second I thought she was talking to me.

Koenji: I refuse.

Office Lady: You're sitting in a priority seat. You have to get up.

Koenji: Does it say anywhere in the law that I have to give up my seat?

Office Lady: No but...

Koenji: Then I refuse to get up. Standing takes more energy than sitting down.

Office Lady: Why you. You're just a kid. Listen to your elders.

Koenji: You speak as if you're better than me. You may be older but better is a stretch. A long one at that. Ha ha ha.

Koenji slicks back his hair.

Kiyone- How troublesome.

Kiyone then spotted a black-haired girl. She was reading Crime and Punishment and seemed completely unbothered by the events that were transpiring.

Kiyone- How peculiar. Is she like me as in she doesn't want trouble?

Kushida then approached.

Kushida: I'll give up my seat.

Kiyone- She seems nice. Should I ask her to be my friend? No. That's too early. I don't even know who she is.

ANHS Bus Stop

Eventually, the bus stopped in front of the Gates to ANHS.

Kiyone stepped out but was stopped at the gate by that same black-haired girl.

Horikita: Why were you staring at me earlier?

Kiyone: I was only wondering why you chose not to say anything.

Horikita: It's a matter of my principle. I don't do unnecessary things.

Kiyone: I see.

Horikita: Well don't stare at me like that again.

Kiyone: Yeah alright.

The 2 head to the entrance ceremony. Kiyone saw a young man step out onto the podium.

Kiyone- While wearing glasses is usually considered not attractive it seems to complete his look. Without them, I think he would look a bit strange.

Kiyone then noticed his gaze shift to Horikita.

Kiyone- Hmm? Are they related in some way? They look quite similar. Maybe cousins? No, they look too similar for that. Most likely siblings.

Elderkita: My name is Horikita Manabu and I am currently your Student Council President.

Kiyone noticed Horikita was unable to look in Manabu's direction. Kiyone tapped Horikita on the shoulder.

Kiyone (Whispering): Do you have some aversion to your brother?
