Chapter 2: A Marvelous Finding

After walking for a few minutes, we finally came across something in this endless forest. It was a tall tower. Though for some people it may not seem that much of a good finding. But when you're in a huge forest like this, stuff like this can really surprise you.

I grabbed Asterias hands and started going forward to the tall tower that lay ahead of us. The tower was filled with moss and vines, as flowers started to grow on those vines. The closer I was to the tower, the more I could see tiny bugs crawling on the dirt and on the bricks.

I then heard a click as I opened the door to the tower. A loud bang could be heard as the door opened. As my eyes saw into the pitch black darkness. I could only make out a little bit of light coming from the top, which led to the balcony of the tower.

My hands scanned around the inside of the tower. Soon enough I found the stairs that led to the balcony of the tower.

I then followed the stairs and my hands intertwined with Asterias as she also followed behind me.

As we started walking up the stairs, I could hear low creaks coming from the stairs. I was pretty much afraid that they would break. I just hope they don't break at all while me and Asteria are walking up them.

After a few minutes walking up these creaky stairs. We finally managed to walk up to the top of the tower. Windows mostly covered the area as the sunlight shines onto the floor and into the top of the tower.

I went ahead and opened the door that went to the outside balcony from the tower. As my eyes widened at the view, I could see almost the whole forest from up the tower. You could see all the trees that were spread out throughout the forest.

As I looked around the balcony for a bit, Asteria went ahead and let go of my hand as she went to look around the inside of the tower.

As I look over the view below me. I wonder what other things we may encounter along this adventure.
