*I listened to a few songs while writing this chapter, but I figured I'd put the one I imagined Minho and Jisung's traditional dance to in this chap

Jisung found it difficult to relax since the banquet that took place that afternoon to make the alliance between the Sun and the Moon official. The banquet itself wasn't all that stressful, as everyone simply enjoyed the food and shared good conversation. But the Moon Prince was not accustomed to being involved in such large assemblies of people, so he felt as if he was holding his breath through the whole thing.
Thankfully Minho was there for him like always, and it was only thanks to him that Jisung was able to enjoy any of it. But now, hours later, he was tense all over again, because he was about to perform a traditional dance with his fiance in front of everyone, not just the high-ranked officers in the courts.
"Is that too tight?" Changbin asked, trying to adjust the delicate, golden chain headpiece laying over Jisung's hair and dangling around his features in drops of ruby red.
"I think you've got it," Jisung said after tipping his head from side to side carefully, testing to see if the piece stayed in place. "Yes, I think it's perfect."
"Good. I'd hate to be the reason anything goes wrong tonight, after all, everyone in both kingdoms is going to witness this." Changbin stepped back to reach the small table behind him and grabbed a small, wooden box he'd set there earlier.
"I don't think I need to be reminded of how many people will have their eyes on me," Jisung said, adjusting his sleeves in a nervous way.
"You'll be alright, Your Highness. I just know it. They'll see who their future kings are tonight, and they will be proud."
Jisung smiled softly at the bodyguard. "Thank you."
"I mean it." Changbin opened the box, revealing a brooch made of deep red glass, carved and shaped into a heart. The glass was embedded in a carved piece of gold and surrounded by golden flowers encrusted with tiny green jewels. "Do you know what this represents?"
Jisung nodded, admiring the piece as Changbin carefully attached it to his clothes above his heart. "It's Minho's heart."
Changbing smiled. "It is. I like to see this tradition as the fact that you stole his heart, and during this sort of ritual, you are essentially giving it back to him stronger than before and with the promise that you have become one."
"I never thought to look into the Sun's traditions, but it sounds beautiful."
"It is. And I can't wait to see what the Moon has in store for us, I've purposely avoided doing research so that I can be surprised by what you do."
Jisung laughed a little. "So you won't let me spoil it for you?"
Changbin quickly covered his ears. "Don't you dare."
"Oh, I never would," Jisung promised through soft laughter, catching the bodyguard's hands and pushing them down. "It's nothing terribly fancy, but I'm sure you'll be interested in it anyway."
"I definitely will be."
"You're cute, I can't wait to tease you like this when you get married."
Changbin flushed red in a strangely adorable way. "Oh, uh, well that day won't come any time soon, so you'll have to be patient for that."
