*A year later*
Minho tightened the last loop of the sash, admiring how it snugly showed off his husband's frame. Before Jisung could step forward, Minho grabbed his hips, pulling him back against his chest, arms locking around his waist. "Do you remember the first time I showed you how to tie this?"
"How could I not?" Jisung hummed, reaching down to hold Minho's arms.
"It was a moment that left me wanting more, and now I have it all." He began kissing the back of Jisung's neck. "You smell nice, did you use that new soap Chan gifted you?"
"I like that soap, but your mother gave this one to me. She said it would 'drive you crazy'. I suppose she wasn't wrong."
Minho definitely felt like he was going crazy. He chuckled into Jisung's hair. "I can't believe my mother is trying to help us into bed."
Jisung gave a small laugh and turned in Minho's arms, hooking his own arms around his neck. "Intimacy is important in marriage, you know, and with everything going on, it would make sense why she's... helping."
"She's so meddlesome." Minho kissed Jisung's nose. "Have you been missing me, love?"
"I have. But with this wedding and everything, I'm not blaming either of us for being so distant."
Minho smiled a little. "I'm sorry, I just haven't had time-"
"No one has, Minho," Jisung assured, setting his hand on Minho's cheek. "Today is the final ceremony and then we'll have each other for a few days, alright?"
Minho smirked and suddenly tightened his hold around his husband. "What if I want to have you now?"
"Twenty minutes before the wedding? I don't think so. With how long it's been, you'll have me for at least an hour, if not more."
"Alright, alright, I'll resist for a time," Minho gave in reluctantly. "But can I at least kiss you?"
Jisung beamed. "Wish granted." He pressed their lips together.
Minho melted into it, only fully realizing how much he missed the addiction that was his husband. Hyunjin, the Prince of Fire, was getting married, and for two weeks Minho and Jisung had found themselves surrounded by extra work so they wouldn't fall behind on anything during their week in Salguard. As for the past week in Salguard, they were still busy, running about attending a few meetings, working through a trading mess that happened days before, and attending the many ceremonies that came with marriage.
Until this morning, the Emperors hardly had time for each other, and they were both beginning to feel that gap. They did not only desire that physical connection, they simply desired each other, the ease and comfort they gave one another, the unity they felt as a team against the whole world.
Minho couldn't help grinning when Jisung was the one to chase his lips once they parted, and he playfully poked his nose. "Now who wants who?"
Jisung gave a soft glare. "I always want you."
"Don't tempt me, now we only have fifteen minutes, and I wouldn't want to risk leaving you sore."
A knock at the doors had them holding back, and Jisung stepped away to fix his hair. Upon Minho's welcome, Chan and Changbin stepped inside. "They're ready for us."
Minho stepped up to Jisung and helped him tame his hair. "Perfect, we're all ready, right, my dear?"
"Just be glad you only messed up my hair," Jisung murmured, nudging his elbow into Minho's gut. They both laughed quietly and then left their guest suite arm in arm, their bodyguards trailing closely behind.
