*I am sick, so this update has come to you quite late. (Me so sick and legendary~) Jk lol
*I will be posting an epilogue some time tomorrow or the next day, to be determined.
*Enjoy!
For the first time in a long time, Minho and Jisung were lazy. Their honeymoon was meant to last two weeks, and for the first three days they hardly left their room at the small palace in the far northern part of the Moon Kingdom. For that time, they had the castle to themselves, save for a few cooks and two maids, and they were happy for it. No mothers would come barging in first thing in the morning while they were still undressed, no assassin would appear hanging above their sleeping heads.
It was just them and the gorgeous view of the snowy mountains on their doorstep. Minho couldn't ask for more. Despite all that had happened and more to come with merging two massive and influential kingdoms, the Sun Prince felt like he had everything he could ever ask for.
"Wait, turn back, I wasn't finished with that page."
Jisung's brow creased, and he glanced over his shoulder at his husband cuddling him from behind. "Have you been reading over my shoulder the whole time?"
"Yes. You have good taste in stories, Your Highness."
"And you're a slow reader," Jisung teased, turning the page back as requested. "Do you think we should actually get out of bed today?"
"Sh, I'm reading."
Jisung chuckled, but then he closed the book. "Minho, I'm serious. I love lounging around, but my legs are going to forget how to work properly."
Minho instantly smirked. "I thought that only applied to the nights we fu-"
"Prince Minho!" Jisung gasped, reaching over to smack one of the pillows over his head, only making the one he was attacking laugh. The Moon Prince huffed, as if completely scandalized, and threw the covers off before climbing out of bed. "Such a vulgar man."
"A man that speaks truth," Minho argued, shoving the abandoned pillow weapon off his head and sitting up to ruffle his hair. "Besides, you can't act so dignified when it takes two to have... a dance."
Jisung glared at him. "Now you're just making fun of me."
"If you wish to call sex other things, you can tell me," Minho continued, his smug smile growing while he watched Jisung beside the vanity desk a few feet away. He was still holding onto his grumpy, offended act, so of course Minho was going to tug him around. "We could be official and say we have intercourse. Or perhaps you want something more flowery, such as... an intimate dance? Or something more silly, like 'a tumble in the sheets.'"
"Stop, you're making me want to avoid sleeping with you for the rest of this trip."
"And there's another way we could talk about it, well done."
Jisung laughed, but quickly bit it back, flicking his flowing, silvery robes up so he could sit in front of the vanity. "I won't look at you until you call it something less... violent sounding."
"That was well put, my love." Minho got out of bed as well, mentally finding amusement in the difference between himself and his husband. While Jisung wore a comfortable robe in and out of bed and kept himself well put together, Minho wore nothing but a pair of loose, nightly trousers and never bothered to tame his hair until he was officially getting ready for the day.
He came up to the back of Jisung's chair, propping his hands on the back rest and leaning forward a little to make eye contact with the beautiful prince in the mirror. His cool, mismatched eyes remained playfully grumpy, but Minho wasn't worried about that. He leaned toward his ear. "Let's just agree to call it what it is."
