I'm running straight to the police station it's raining but I don't care.

Something happened to Damien and they won't tell me what until I can get there. I just hope that he's alright.

I hope he didn't get himself in trouble. I try and keep at a good pace but the tears in my eyes are clouding my vision.

The faint blur of the street lights is the only thing really guiding  me in this fog and rain.

I reach the station and practically burst in.

"Ms Willams have a seat, Mr Thompson should be here soon"

"What ? No. What's going on, where Damien. Is he okay. At this point in frantic and I want answers.

When they called, they said that they needed to get to the police station because it concerned Damien.

Suddenly Barron bursted in, interrupting my cries for help.

"What happened, is every thing alright" Barron says as he comes to embrace me.

"Damien white killed himself last night" the officer said carefully and my world stopped.

The world where it's just us kids forever. I burst out crying because I don't know what else to do.

I don't know why Damien would ever take his own life.

Barron is not doing much better than I am, I can hear his heavy breathing and light sobs. We just lost our best friend.

"I'm so sorry for your loss you guys." The officer said. Then it occurred to me.

We are in a police station. we are in a POLICE STATION.

Where are Damien's parents? Why didn't he feel the need to tell any of us that he was struggling.

I don't know what's going on and too many thoughts. To many thoughts.

Everything is attacking me at once and I can't anymore.

" I'm sorry you two but the reason why you're here is so we can get insight on why Damien lived alone and where might his parents be."

My face turned white. I had no idea what he was talking about.

Damien lived with his parents. He told us he did.

"No. No, he doesn't live alone, he lives with his parents." I shout out to

" well we searched the house and found that there was evidence of only one person living there.

As for the bills and such, it's being paid by someone in Poland by the name of Declan white.

We assume that is his father or maybe some relative.

But nonetheless, a minor living alone is a crime and since Daimen was a minor we have to investigate it."

Was. Damien was here. Now he's not. I didn't know he was alone.

He was always the sweetest boy ever and never let his smile falter.

Until the day of graduation. God I should have known. I should I been there for him more.

"Lottie, deep breaths please" Barron says and I can tell he's trying to be strong. He's trying for me.

"Has Damien ever talked about his home life with you two?"

"I- no he never said anything, we never even seen his home, he always said that his parents don't like people over so we respected that" Barron said

"Okay thank you guys, you can go now. I will update you."

He said and we were walking out the door but then I stop.

" where is he? Where is Damien's...." I can't even say it because this doesn't feel real. He was just here.

" His body is in the morgue. I can take you kids there"

I look to Barron, tears still in his eyes. He nods. And we're out the door.
