Arjun is taking me out for dinner today. He told me that he'll come home by 07:00 but now it's 09:00. I texted him and he replied that he is stuck in a meeting. I am mad at him. Not actually. It's not his fault though. The meeting was arranged at the very last minute.
I wore a saree with very dainty earrings and my nuptial chain with very light makeup. I sat on the bed and scrolled through reels.
I looked up to see Arjun panting heavily. He threw his coat and walked close to me. I huffed. Yup a little acting wouldn't hurt anyone right? I got him a glass of water. He drank it and before I could leave he held my hand.
His touch is always so gentle, so warm.
"Sorry". He said and I controlled the urge to smile.
"Rehne dijiye". I said and walked past him. I stood facing the mirror and he stood next to me. I fixed my makeup and rings.
"Are you mad at me?" He said and I nodded my head.
"I can do anything you want me to". He said and I looked at him.
"Mujhe manana itna aasan nahi hoga". I said and sat on the bed.
He looked at me and smiled. And I knew he was going to do something, so I raised my eyebrows in response. It is raining now. He bent down in front of me and held my hands gesturing me to stand up. And I did as he asked me to.
"Can I have a dance with my beautiful lady?". He asked and I tried to control my smile for the millionth time.
"Nahi". I said
"Please". He said with the puppiest eyes possible.
He gently held me close. His hands circled around my waist. He turned on his phone playing a song before tossing it on the bed.
