In a well lit room, a wooden table was standing at the centre of the room, a bed could be seen at the corner of the room and close to it, a reading table is sighted with reading lamp placed on it.
Notes and drugs could be seen scattered on the reading table , giving the table a rough look, making the room look more odd cupping up with the silence in the room.
A window is sighted near the reading table Maxwell could be seen standing by the window lost in thought and Amy is standing far away from him looking lost, starring into an empty space.
There was a long silence between Maxwell and Amy making the room oddly quite and uninviting. Maxwell broke the uneven silence between them "Why, those these as to be? " , Amy who was lost in her own world kept mute, "Why did everything turned out this way?", he continued .
Amy kept mute starring at nothing in particular, Maxwell whom had his back facing Amy, moved away from the window and walked towards Amy.
"Amy", he called softly and stopped in front of Amy who was standing few meters away from him.
Amy jilted from her own thoughts and faced him looking hurt within, she raised her head and looked deeply at Maxwell with tears in her eyes it shows that she had been crying silently.
"Max, what am I supposed to do, Your parents despise me, why?, Max why? Because I'm a poor orphan", she paused and continued "Now my unborn child is a threat to your future and your family reputation,The only suggestion you could give me is to abort," she raised her voice and talked in anger"Max, I can't kill my baby, I can't be left with nothing, I had no parents and relatives.
The flashback of there last hang out replayed in her memory, how he took her virginity, his promises, his sweet words and all.
She sobbed the more, crying out loud, Maxwell made an attempt to hold her hand, she moved back away from him 'Amy Pls hear me out, I still love you but we are left with no choice than to abort the foetus in you, everything is at stake "
Amy wiped off her tears and faced him"I would kindly love it if you leave me alone because I won't dare to kill my unborn child, I can't do it, I will mother my child with or without fatherly love "
"Amy, Pls hear me out for once, I would be leaving the city soon but it is left for you to decide if you are keeping the baby or ...."
"enough Max, kindly leave this place now " Max left the room reluctantly, looking back at Amy consistently till he was out of the room.
