Diana walked out of the bathroom after a refreshing bath, she used the towel hanging around her neck to wipe her hair moving towards the dressing mirror in her room, she picked the hair dryer from the table and used it to blow her hair dry.
She moved from the dressing table to pick her phone on the bed, the phone is off then she moved from the bed to charge the phone since it is off.
She did her skin care and picked up a comfortable dress from her closet to wear. She laid on her bed facing upward, starring at the ceiling in her room thinking about what her mother told her about her father.
In an instant she stood up from the bed, walked towards the drawer by her reading table and brought out a diary from drawer, she opened the diary, placed it on her reading table and sat down.
She opened the book and picked up a ball pen to write on it
Goes thus:
I mellow, today is my birthday
Got a few clues about my father
Mom says he goes in the name of Maxwell. Ohh, I didn't ask what is second name his, why would I care to know since he abandoned my mother and didn't care to know what gender his child his.
Couldn't get more details about him, I don't want to see momma sad
Bringing this issue up again could trigger mom's sickness.

I need to prepare for school and get all the necessary stuff I will be needing.

She picked up her mobile phone and turned it on, in a split second a lot of messages popped up on her screen, most of it from her friends.
She opened the group chat that was created for the two friends she had.
Diana : Hi
After a few minutes she got a reply
Fiona: what's up, dearie
Diana): Nothing much to do
Fiona: why on earth was your phone off, I was a bit worried. In other words, Happy Birthday lovely.
Diana :Thank you so much and am sorry I got you worried.
Brian : Hi fairies
Fiona& Diana : Hello, Noble prince
Brian : Good, Happy Birthday princess, you kinda ignored my messages.
Diana : My sincerest apologies
Fiona: Are you back from practice
Brian : Yes
Fiona: I have a suggestion

Brian : I support that, I will choose the best location for our outing and send the details to you. The bills is on me.

Brian : spill it
Diana : my scholarship has been approved.
Fiona: Wow at last I now have a chit chat partner, father did it.
Brian : we have to celebrate this
Diana : 1 more thing, I got a clue about my father but it isn't enough
Brian : we would find him soon, bye for now

Fiona : Prepare some chocolate bar, before I get to your house

"let make a toast for Diana's success ", Brian said raising the glass cup in his hands up, Fiona and Diana complied by raising their cups up for a toast. The cups clashed and make a cling sound.
Fiona brought out a box full of chocolate wraps from her handbag and faced Brian "I wrapped this specially for you " she spoke affectionately, handing the box over to Brian "Those are Diana's homemade chocolates "
"Thanks dear"
"tell us Diana, what details do you have about ur dad"
"Got to know his name his Maxwell but didn't ask what his second name was, he kinda abandon my mother while she was pregnant "
"The name alone can't do enough, a wholesome lot bears 'Maxwell'", Fiona emphasized
" it a matter of time, you can probably still get more information from your mother, let wait a while more ", Brian reasoned.
"Yeah, maybe time could determine the future " Diana replied
"when will you resume ", Fiona chipped in

"Will you guys stop been on each others neck" Diana Interrupted
"we are sorry", Brian answered in a remorseful manner.
"Alright guys, my school dress would be delivered tomorrow I got the mail about the delivery on my phone "
"surely, can't wait. I really need a new lunch break partner" Fiona complained.
"I didn't try my best to be a good lunch break partner right" Brian asked.
