19 YEARS LATER

AMY with so much gladness sang a birthday song to the divine goddess standing in front of her.

The person standing in front of Amy in the name of Diana was taken a back in a little surprise because she wasn't expecting the scene before her eyes.

It's a normal thing, her mother wishes her on her birthday, sing for her and ask her to make a wish but the scene before her makes a huge difference.

"Happy Birthday my divine goddess ", Amy 's words jilted her from the mesmerizing moment she was experiencing a minute ago.

Amy moved closer to her holding one of her hand ushering her to have her sit round the dining table she had took her time to set.

"Do you love it " Amy asked.
"yes, I do. You are the best " Diana replied. "Mom, how do you come about doing all this all alone, I guess it was tiring, and oh am pretty sure you stayed awake during the night to decorate all this."

"you are quite right my divine goddess, since you clocked 18 today which shows you are no longer a kid , do I decided to welcome you into the adult hood and congratulate you on your success. "

The last word of her mother baffled her"congratulate on what success" she thought inwardly as her eyes roams round the paper work her mother did each of them had a writing on it.

Her eyes stumbled on a piece of writing on a paperwork "A student of Treasure college " and her heart skipped a beat, she turned her head sharply facing her mother.

"ohhhhhh, I saw ur admission letter on your reading table yesternight when I checked up on you"

"I wished to spill the news to you this morning about my scholarship offer, since you've seen it yourself it is all the same good " Diana spat out

"we have two things to celebrate first, you are 18 today and you are resuming to college in no time soon to study law, the best college in the whole city. " she paused and continued "My little divine goddess as always made me proud, you deserve a toast"

"Thanks, Momma"

"Now blow off the candle light and make a wish "

Diana blew the candle light and faced her mother singing "Request time Request time"
"Mom" she called solemnly
"who is my father"

In a split second Amy's countenance changed she bowed her head lost deeply in thought

"How would I tell my daughter her father is the famous Maxwell Nill of Nill's group, for how long would I keep her waiting? " Different mind flooded through her mind

"Mom " Diana called back her attention
An idea came up in her brain, she then raised her head and looked at Diana "Can you wait till a later date and I will tell you who you father is ".

Diana facial expression changed like she was thinking about something then she smiled "Mom, remember you taught me never to fail a promise, you promised me you will tell me who my real father was when I clock 18"

"I never forgot , the name of your father is Maxwell but in find it preferable to call him Max"
" As at the time he discovered I was pregnant for him he was about to travel to study overseas, since he left I never heard anything about but I heard a rumour that he died"
"Diana your father left me ".

Tears swelled up Amy's eyes as Diana moved closer to her to comfort her.
