Ian remained speechless as he watched Aqua take on the group of attackers. The attackers were different in size, shape, and even had various other things that contributed to make them unique. Sure, there was a pair or even three of them but Ian could tell that whatever these things were, they had variations. Yet, to Aqua they were nothing but child's play. She is strong, super strong and she easily handled the group without any difficulty. Aqua dispersed the last creature within the area. It went down in a puff of smoke. She returned to Ian's side and she could tell that he was enthralled about her performance.

"That was so amazing!!! You move like super fast! I can't describe it but it was awesome!" Ian spoke with excitement.

"Why, thank you. I'm just glad you weren't hurt." Aqua replied.

"Ah, I can't be hurt not with how strong you are." Ian said.

Aqua gave him a smile. However, she doubted that she was as strong as he thought.

"Maybe I'll take up studying because that explosion was like, "boom!" They were like, "disappear or fear the heat."" Ian spoke.

It looked like Aqua had him intrigued enough to take up studying magic. As long as he wasn't so focused on feeling lost. She supposed it wouldn't hurt to entertain his thoughts.

"You can do even more things if you just apply yourself. That means taking studying it seriously." Aqua responded.

"I know but after watching you, I'm interested in learning magic." Ian stated.

"Do you have a magic user in your village? Once, you get back home. You can learn from them." Aqua said.

Ian face grew a frown. She was about to ask why he was making such a face but he spoke before her.

"I wanna learn from you." He said.

Aqua became a bit nervous. She didn't have a lot of experience at being a Master and it's not like she was doing a great job of being one right now. Aqua still hasn't gotten her friends back like she had wanted nor had she completed both of her tasks.

"I'm honored really but I can't teach you besides I still have a lot to learn. I don't think it would be a great idea. I even have other stuff I have to attend to first." Aqua answered the child.

"Other stuff to attend to first?" Ian asked.

"The friends I was talking about earlier, I have to bring them home. They both ran off and our Master is worried about them. I have to finish that first and there's something dire that I have to quell."

Aqua didn't want to bring him into this life. This would be a one and done event. After getting him home, he'll think this was a dream.

"After you deal with that will you train me?" Ian asked.

"I'm afraid that's not possible." Aqua answered.

Ian looked heartbroken and he frowned as he ran forward at being rejected by her. Aqua was heartbroken at denying him but he was just a innocent child. He shouldn't be drawn into her problems. He shouldn't be drawn into something that would hurt him. He should remain here, happily living his life. When she saw him dart forward. Aqua had to run after him.

"Ian! Wait!" Aqua yelled.

Ian wouldn't wait for her as he kept running even if she was gaining ground. He was hurt that she rejected him. He was willing to study and wait for her to return after finishing her stuff. It wasn't fair. Ian ran right into a clearing to see that something else had already made its way into said clearing. It was standing in the middle of the clearing and it instantly looked at him. The creature was like a massive tree but the brown bark was now a healthy purple. He saw black energy surronding the tree. The tree had two red color eyes. It was the same creature that had attacked him and Aqua but in a new variation. Ian saw the tree raise one of it's vines into the air. He had to move or be hit by such a thing. Yet, he was paralyzed. He couldn't move despite him telling his body to move. Ian only moved because Aqua had slammed into him as they both went flying through the air. As they tumbled about on the ground. Ian had some sense knocked into him because of the impacts. The instinctive side had subsided for the moment. Ian sat up to see Aqua clenching her side with pain on her face. She had taken the blow meant for Ian. The young woman facing the other way. He couldn't see her face. He couldn't gauge her expression.
