I don't own a thing. It is owned by Tetsuya Nomura and Square.

"That's how I ended up here." Aqua explained.

At this point, Ian and Aqua were walking down the remaining forest. It was late at night. Ian had assured her that they didn't have much further to walk.

"You're even more incredible than I thought." Ian said with awe.

He rush forward but not too far that it would have her calling for him. He did a slashing motion as if he was holding a keyblade. He looked back at her.

"No wonder it looked like a sword but had a key like shape. I was so confused about that."

"Yes, quite the tale I told you about."

Ian continued pacing ahead as he thought about the story Aqua had told him. Her Master, Friends, Unversed and just the information that was given to him.

'No wonder she could do all that stuff with ease even when she was injured.' Ian thought.

"Aqua, when you get done with Terra and Ventus. I want to be trained by you. At the very least in the ways of being a mage." Ian said.

Hadn't they already talked about this before? Aqua stopped walking as she crossed her arms. Ian stopped walking while turning around to face her. She could read his emotions since his heart was still on his sleeve.

"Ian what's this really about?" Aqua asked.

Ian blushed while looking at the ground. He knew lying to her would bring negative results. It be better fess up to the truth or risk being a idiot.

"I...I'm really, really actually interested in magic. I mean it." He said.

Aqua raised a brow. Ian did show interest in the art of magecraft. She knew that wasn't a lie but there was a sneaking suspension that there was something else underneath that interest.

"Erm well...I...want to keep spending time with you." His voice trailed off at that part.

Aqua knew what he was getting at, even if he didn't vocally say what he wanted too. He was experiencing a form of puppy love. She best get him off of that love while it was still in its infancy. Even if it meant hurting him.

"I know you are interested in magic and magecraft. However, I'm too old for you. I'm sorry but we can't be the way you want us to be." Aqua said.

This time Ian didn't run away at being rejected. He did however unleash his frustration in a loud sigh.

"She isn't being fair. How can I not when she is marvelous, kind, splendid, understanding, and strong!?" Ian shouted.

"Ian..."

She was touched that he viewed as such but she was torn because he looked heartbroken. He turned his back to her.

"Fine, I'll get over you if and only if I can find a girl that is or has the potential to be like you Aqua. To be clear that shares your qualities. If you can be all that, all at once, they can meet that bar as well." Ian said.

He turned around to reveal his eyes and she could see that he was still sad about the rejection. However, he did have a small smile on his face.

"There is another catch for me to do that, you have to promise me to be my teacher and return back after getting your friends. You're already a Master." Ian said.

Aqua broke down at his persistence.

"I'm...bad at being a Master as I have told you in my winded story. I don't have a lot of successes." Aqua stated.
