I haven't stopped thinking about Marco. I can't. I refuse to let him take over my brain, like a freaking virus. I make my way to the kitchen, where I see Aunt Matt sitting. I squeal, earning a grin from him.

He opens his arms and I collapse into them, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Well I haven't seen you a minute" he says. "Right. Why didn't you come for christmas?" I ask. Dad gives me a look, interrupting uncle matt.

"Okay so he gets a hug but I don't?" I roll my eyes, lazily walking to him and hugging him. He ruffles my hair, and I give him a dirty look.

"You and Alex have got to stop that" I frowned. He shrugs innocently.

"I couldn't come for christmas because Anna got sick" he shrugs. Anna was him and aunt Clara's daughter, she's fifteen..I think.

I nod, taking an apple off the counter. "LUCIA" the yell startles me and I turn around to see Alex jogging into the kitchen. I assume he already said hi to uncle Matt, because he walks right up to me. "Are you going to the party tonight?"

A pleading expression is on his face, and I give him a confused look. "What party?" me and dad say at the same time.

"There's a party tonight, can you please-please come so you can drop me off?" I groan, rolling my eyes. Dad gives us a suspicious look. "Do I need to investigate?" he asks. I shake my head quickly.

"Fine. I'll drive you" I sigh. He jumps in the air, turning around and running back upstairs.

"How is it dealing with that one?" Uncle Matt asks me. I laugh lightly. "Too energetic" he nods, exchanging a look with my dad. I ignore it, walking back to my room.

I look at myself in the mirror, butterflies releasing in my stomach when I remember Marco's words.

"You're beautiful" "Really,really,beautiful"

I frowned. He's probably teasing me.How could it be anything else other then sex? That's it. He's checking me out, and he wanted to use me. Disappointment fills me, but I shrug it off. Whatever.

I suddenly changed my mind deciding i'm going to this party. What will a little fun do? I can't spend all year studying after school for hours.

I throw on a dress, hesitantly slipping on black heels. I sit at my dresser, hesitating as I hold the foundation bottle in my hand. I decide not to use it, instead applying mascara to add volume to my eyelashes.

The door creaks open and my mother walks in. She gasps, smiling at me in the reflection of the mirror as she plants her hands on my shoulders. "You look dashing" she grins. I smile. "Have you been watching those british shows?" I ask. She laughs, nodding. "Yep"
I stand up, spinning slowly in front of the mirror.

"I'm ready"

"Don't drink too much, and don't do any-"
"Mom please" I blush, hiding my face in my hands. She pushes me gently out of the door laughing.

Alex stands at the bottom of the stairs, giving me an inpatient look as he glances at his apple watch.

"Please lets go before she gives me a talk about...you know" I blush. He shrugs and I break free from mom's hands. "I love you, I'll be fine" I mumble. She nods and I slip out the back door before yelling. "BYE DAD, BYE UNCLE MATT"

The sound of lovely new york fills my ears when I step outside, the distant sound of cars moving very faintly. I see the lights of buildings far away, smiling.

"So are we going to get in the car or-"
I give him a dirty look, getting into the car. We drive to the address, and I park in a very busy looking house.
