It's quiet outside when the group walked out the front door, Owen with Jane in front to make sure if any dinosaur is near and they need to take cover. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, the duo shared a look with Jane shrugging her shoulders when not a single life of dinosaur showed up, or so they thought.
Maisie let out small gasp right as Blue appeared, approaching her alpha, the man that raised her and her now dead sisters.
"Hey girl." Owen said. Blue looked behind him at Jane, like inspecting if the woman is alright after the fall from rooftop and her contact with the hybrid, before switching back to her alpha.
Owen reached out his hand to Blue, doing few slow steps towards her but letting Blue finish the small gap between them. At first she flinched, but then she gave in, her snout falling into Owen's palm and she purred.
"Blue, come with me. We'll take you to a safe place, okay?" But when both Blue and him looked over at the open cage, he knew better than to ask her for that. Blue looked back at her alpha, if it wasn't something behind Jane catching her eyes and turning her pupils into slits, growling.
The Indoraptor walked out from behind another cage to stand beside Jane with half of his body kept in front of her, his hard gaze fixed on Blue. He for sure remember when she attacked him and nearly killed both him and Jane.
"Easy, easy boy. She's friendly." Jane's hand rubbed the nape of Indoraptor's neck, nonetheless it didn't help with stopping his glare.
"Blue, he's fine." Owen caught on calming the situation between the two raptors, glancing between Blue and the hybrid.
Suddenly the two dinosaurs began chirping and squeaking, using their language to communicate while their conversation remained unknown to the humans.
In the end Blue chirped and purred, lowering her head slightly along with the Indoraptor. Owen and Jane watched with amazed eyes.
"What are they doing?" Franklin asked, unsure if it's good sign or bad sign and stepped behind Zia.
"Showing respect to each other." Grant smiled, tearing her green eyes to meet with her best friend's, reading his mind. This is totally amazing experience.
Blue lifted her head back, looked at Jane, than at her alpha at which she also chirped at, then turned around to run into the darkness of forest, disappearing.
Jane rubbed Owen's dropped shoulders, a little saddened he couldn't get back to old times like at Jurassic World. He doesn't blame her, though. Everyone wants their freedom, and Blue deserves it.
The silence of night was once again interrupt with loud footsteps shaking the ground, and Franklin almost passed when Rexy appeared from behind the mansion.
"Rexy!" The woman with bloody leg called out with one of her biggest grins, limping her way towards her best friend that roared in greet. But the Indoraptor's sudden jealousy and protectiveness pushed his buttons, making him growl and step in front of Jane, blocking her way.
Rexy, seeing another dinosaur she don't remember ever seeing keeping her best friend from her, growled and roared. The hybrid roared back, only to get grabbed by Rexy's teeth and slammed into the wall.
"Rexy, no!" Jane's voice distracted the t-rex enough long for the Indoraptor to growl and jump at the side of her face, clawing at her hard skin.
"No, no, stop! Stop fighting idiots!" The woman waved her arms in attempt to catch their attention, but failed. She whinned, looking back at her friends that stood on the stairs with shock, watching the scene unfold.
