When Gavi saw Pedri, he froze, eyes wide with fear. I sensed his apprehension; he was scared of hurting Pedri, but he needed him there. Pedri seemed hesitant too, and they exchanged a few awkward words while I watched closely, ensuring Pedri's safety.

Everything seemed fine until Pedri accidentally scratched himself on the edge of Pablo's closet, drawing blood. In an instant, Gavi's demeanour changed. His eyes darkened, pupils dilating, and he lunged forward, ready to attack Pedro.

Reacting quickly, I stepped between them, pressing Gavi against the wall, and urgently told Pedro to leave. But Pedro seemed frozen in shock.

Pablo bit my arm, and I winced in pain. Pushing him away, I adjusted my grip to restrain him better. "Pedro, get out!" I yelled urgently. Finally, he seemed to snap out of his shock, rushing out of the room and closing the door behind him.

After feeding Pablo some of my blood to calm him down, I hugged him tightly, whispering reassurances that he hadn't harmed Pedro and that his control would improve with time.

After Pablo had calmed down, I quickly went to check on Pedri. I found him at the beach next to our villa, sitting in the sand, lost in thought as he watched the waves. I sat down beside him, gently taking his hand in mine. Pedri rested his head on my shoulder, his voice barely above a whisper as he spoke, "I've never seen him like that... he looked like he wanted to kill me."

Quietly, I replied, "He wanted to... but he wasn't himself. Don't blame him; he wasn't in control. It will get better over time. He still needs to learn."

Pedro just buried his face in my neck, and I placed a gentle kiss to his forehead.

When we broke apart, it felt like Pedro and I were the only ones in the world. The waves and city sounds faded into the background.

Suddenly, we heard screams. I turned and saw him.

Jason, my ex-boyfriend and also an Allpowerful like me, approached us. He'd been relentless in wanting me back, convinced we were soulmates. But I'd never return to him. He was manipulative and abusive, and I'd finally broken free with Pedro's help.

I'd been naive to fall for Jason's charms initially. He was popular and good-looking, but behind closed doors, he was cruel. Pedro was the one who showed me the reality of our relationship and supported me when I ended things with Jason. It wasn't easy; he accused me of cheating and I had to seek refuge with Pedro's family until things calmed down.

There he stood, gripping the lifeless form of a little girl he had just fed on. His smirk, coupled with the familiar coldness in his eyes, sent a chill down my spine.
